After reading some of the ...

After reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure if this ammo was the best choice to order, but I have to say I was convinced otherwise. I shot 5 rounds through the Chroni to get the actual MV for my rifle. I shot it with my Savage 10 FLCP-K, 24" barrel with MB. The average MV was 2804 ft/s, so a little more than what Hornady lists it with. After sighting the rifle in I shot 3 groups of 4 rounds and 2 of these groups were less than an inch (about 3/4") one was about 1". I haven't used it for hunting yet, but I am very pleased with the consistent accuracy of this ammo. I don't know if I'll ever have to shoot a Zombie, but I think I'll be very happy once taking the first deer with it.

was a bit skeptical until ...

was a bit skeptical until reading some of the other reviews, Hornady doesn't provide any real info on their website. It is match brass, my thinking is that it's the same as their a-max match with a glow in the dark tip and cool packaging. I was getting 3 shot groups around a quarter inch with an out of the box 20" bull barreled 700. I need to replace the batteries in my calipers to get a more accurate measurement. It's a brand new rifle and I haven't tried anything else, with results like that, why bother?

My wonderful girlfriend ...

My wonderful girlfriend got me a few boxes for Christmas and they shot perfectly out of my scope M1A. Zombie head-sized targets at a few hundred yards stood no chance, even for rookie shooters. It is clean burning and the brass is very nice for reloaders.

I was a little skeptical ...

I was a little skeptical with the zombie marketing ploy, but I bought a box of .308 168gn Z-Max- upon checking it out I found that it is loaded in Hornady MATCH brass. Performed very nicely out of my M1a and Rem 700. Measuring at the center of the bullet hole--.45 inches at 100 yards out of the Rem 700.

Outstanding ammo. Capable ...

Outstanding ammo. Capable of sub-MOA accuracy out of a Rem 700 26" bull barrel SPS Varmint, with HS Precision stock and Leupold Mk 4 scope. Could not be more pleased with this ammo.

The ammo was very ...

The ammo was very accurate out of my 700 LTR and absolutely devastating on bobcats, coyotes, and deer. It went in the size of my little finger but came out bigger than a softball. Very, very good stuff.
