Ever since its introduction in 2006, LEVERevolution ammunition has brought grandpa's lever action rifle out of retirement and turned it into a firearm everyone is shooting. Featuring a soft polymer flex tip, it's tough enough to stand up to a jacketed bullet, but soft enough so it won't dent the primer of the round in front of it or cause accidental firing in a lever gun. Great round for the Marlin 308

I bought the Marlin Lever action 308. This is the best round I have found. The Ammo is true box after box. You will have good proformance at any range.

Very accurate. Shot a large mule deer right on the shoulder. It broke both shoulders. We found the bullet inside of fur on the exit side. The recovered bullet weighed 82 grains, but it is not unreasonable after breaking both shoulders.

Im shooting this ammunition out of a limited edition 308SDT with a 16.5 inch barrel. Groups average an inch or below at 100 meters. Shot two whitetail deer this year with this round and rifle combination. Both between 100 to 120 meters and both were one shot kills. Neither deer ran more than 25 meters after being hit. This is some great quality factory loaded ammunition. Accurate, deadly and reasonably priced... Even though I reload, Ill be stocking up on this factory load.

I hope this caliber will ...

I hope this caliber will grow in popularity. I have the blued version 336 Marlin in 308ME with a 4x fixed Nikon Monarch scope. I am able to shoot 3/4" groups from the bench at 150 yards. I have taken 2 average size deer, one at 40 yards and the other at 200. The 40 yard deer went about 30 yards and was hit through both shoulders. The 200 yard deer dropped straight down with a neck shot. The cartridge does not kick and the rifle is handy and light. There are dies, the correct Hornady bullets, brass and LEVERevolution powder now available if this ammo goes obsolete. This is really a good deer round.

I love the marlin 308 express great round and the hornady ammo is the best I have killed 3 deer with it and none of them moved drop right there. Very accurate round almost no recoil

Used this ammo on a whitetail doe last month. 50 yard shot broadside facing left. Bullet broke both shoulders and exited out right side. Deer went about 15 yards with most of right lung missing. Right shoulder fell off while pulling off the hide. Exit wound about the size of my fist. Will neck shoot next time. Bought this gun (308MXLR) originally in 2008 for an Oregon elk hunt . I have no doubts about using this round on elk sized animals to 200yds and beyond.

Shot a 175 lb. hog at 35 yards in the head using my Marlin model 336 in .30-30. The pig dropped dead in its tracks. I plan on using it again to go pig hunting this week.
