These stripper clips are military surplus, constructed of spring steel with a parkerized finish. Each clip will hold 10-rounds of 7.62x39mm Russian. Perfect for reloading your SKS rifle, or AK-47 magazine with a stripper clip guide (not included). Package of 10.

Thought I would try these ...

Thought I would try these despite the rather poor reviews. Only 1 out of the 10 fit in the bolt of a Chinese SKS, 3 had one side fit, and the rest did not fit at all. Being new to the SKS I figured I would see how the one that did fit worked loading rounds. Having used AR and FAL magazine loading strippers with their adapters previously I figured I would use the same technique. Well, one of the parts on these strippers is razor sharp and I ended up with a 1 1/2" long gash in my right thumb (yes it bleed quite nicely) . YES it is my fault, however having edges that sharp on a stripper does not seem like a great idea. Could these strippers be modified (remove burr on ends, likely from the die cutting or folding process) to work? Probably. Could the sharp edge be smoothed over? Yes. I guess I was just expecting these to work properly out of the bag, good thing I tested them before actually needing them.

Three stars because the ...

Three stars because the quality of the stripper clips is actually pretty good. Unfortunately the metal is slightly thicker gauge than other similar clips and does not fit my Yugo. So, I'll give them acceptable rating for quality, but because they do not fit, I can't judge beyond that.

These don't work. They don't hold rounds securely, so they fall out. I have both a Russian and Chinese SKS and these don't fit in the clip guide on either one.

Simple design, works as ...

Simple design, works as expected. Makes loading my sks much easier, without them I would be taking longer to load. These are designed well, hold the cartridges with enough tension but also makes it easier to slide the cartridges into sks. I have tried to use these with magazines, but not designed for that purpose. Thanks for a great product.

These clips did not fit ...

These clips did not fit my Russian SKS. It took considerable work on each one to get it to fit into the bolt assembly. They are too wide, did not hold the shells in a straight line making feeding very difficult.

Stripper clips are poorly ...

Stripper clips are poorly made and most fit too snug or would not fit into my sks at all. Some of the tabs were also bent and made them hard to load ammo into. My advice is buy a different brand.

First product I've ordered from you folks, that did not meet expectations. Had acquired SKS strippers in the past from other sources, that were of much better construction. I might have gotten European ones before, and suspect these are of Chinese origin.
