I wish that the RCBS Trim Pro Case Trimmer 3-Way Cutter worked better than my experience with it. It worked find as far as trimming the case to the right length and the chamfering, but when it came to deburring the case neck it leaves a lot to be desired. It would cut evenly around some of the case neck and then cut way too much from about 1/2 of the case neck. I tried every adjustment I could think of and it still cut uneven. I know that cases that have uneven neck thickness will effect this process, but I selected cases with less than 0.001" variation in neck thickness and it still cut very unevenly. So, I returned (my) 1st. RCBS product in my 49 years of reloading.

I held off on buying one of these, half way into trimming and deburring 1000 Lake City 5.56, I HAD to buy it. What a time saver. I used up 10 cases adjusting the thing, no big deal. I bought an extra pilot for .308 but I think I am just going to get another one and I leave this one set up. If you're thinking of buying one, do it. You won't be disappointed.

I have been using this cutter with my power trimmer since 05 and in excess of 10,000 cases and still running sharp and maintaining all adjustments. It takes some time to set it up but this is the most important aspect, and yes you will trash plenty of cases but once done it is a major time saver and beats my old Lyman power trimmer setup hands down. No need for carbide, brass is very soft.No doubt a great product and big time saver.

Works better than the stock RCBS trimmer pro cutter. Cleans and trims the outside of the case. Best investment if your reloading 223. Save you time.

Mine was a piece of cake to setup. I've trimmed about 1K of .223's, and I'm quite pleased with the results so far. I've had the powered case trimmer for years. I had doubts about this product. That's why I put off trying one for so long. The case mouth is clean, even, and very uniform. So far, so good! Time will tell the rest?

After reading all the reviews I thought I'd give this a shot. The idea is great. I found it to be exactly what the other reviewers stated. It does not trim accurate. I spent a long time adjusting, readjusting, and ruining brass trying to get this to work to no avail. The chamfer just does not run true. It will remove way too much brass from half the mouth leaving the other side nearly untouched. Very frustrating, I really wished it worked.

Just finished of 2000 cases with this cutter head and it's still as sharp as new and cut to consistent lengths throughout the run. Takes a little bit of fiddling to get it where the inner and outer bevel are where you want them, but once it's set you are good to go for a long time. If you process big batches of brass, do your hands a favor a buy this.

I love the idea and maybe I just got a bad one but I spent more than an hour trying adjust it and could not get it to trim all the way around the case? Would only work on half of the outside. So I'll just send it back.

I like my Trim Pro a lot. I don't like this cutter one bit. The bevel angle is too close to perpendicular. Even with the bevel cut all the way to a sharp edge at the outside of the case mouth, there is still a bump left inside the case (22 Hornet cases). Good idea. Bad execution. I'm sending mine back for a refund.
