The Geissele Super Semi-Automatic (SSA) Trigger is the semi-auto only version of a select fire trigger that Geissele makes for customers in the U.S. Special Operations community. The SSA is a non-adjustable combat trigger, with a stunningly smooth 1st stage and solid 2nd stage built for use in the adverse environment of battle. Suitable for Close Quarters Battle (CQB) and mid-range carbine work, the Geissele SSA is also the perfect trigger for Squad Designated Marksman (SDM) rifles. The trigger features tool steel construction with wire EDM cut sear surfaces. Total pull weight is 4.5lbs (2.5lb 1st stage/2lb 2nd stage). Instructions are included.

**Check out Bill Geissele's YouTube videos. ** Excellent discussions about his designs, hammer physics, & lock speeds, and installation and adjustment (for the higher end adjustable triggers). The SSA is one of the best upgrades you can do for your CQB to mid-range AR. I concur with every other positive comment here. This is an "out of the box" upgrade that comes very close to the custom trigger work I had done on my Remington 700 ADL - which is the sweetest trigger in my gun safe.The 2-stage for the AR is especially useful because trigger reset occurs at the end of the 1st stage take-up, cutting time from follow up shots. So since the 2nd stage movement on this trigger is almost imperceptible, overall trigger travel between shots is slight.

Great trigger but the ...

Great trigger but the instructions were very poor unless you have experience building an AR lower. I had to have a gunsmith install the trigger. If you have a gunsmith, buy this trigger.

Huge upgrade from the standard AR-15 trigger. Very smooth first stage pull with a crisp break on the second stage. I will definitely be putting Geissele triggers in my future AR builds. I would like to try this trigger with a Fostech DefendAR stock... hint hint midwayusa.

Great trigger

I've used this trigger as well as the enhanced version in two AR's. This one went in a .50 Beowulf build and it works wonderfully. Don't hesitate when you read about gunsmithing required. This trigger can be put in by most shooters. There are several videos out there on how to put these in. I've installed two thus far and I am not a gunsmith. The enhanced version breaks a bit cleaner, but if you go with this one, you won't be missing much. If you're building a precision AR, a brush gun, or just a fun gun, this is the trigger I'd suggest. Every AR I own or will own will have a Geiselle trigger in it, I'm hooked!

I installed this trigger into my RRA lower in about 10 minutes; very straightforward. This trigger performs like a champ, and it has a very nice break at the second stage. It deserves every bit of 5 stars.

100% drop in...first trip to range able to cover 5 shot groups with a nickel. Ruger 556e, hornady 55gr spbt.

Reach into your wallet and yank out the money for this outstanding trigger. Clean and crisp pull, plus very easy to install. I like it so much I'm ordering two more for LMT and LR308. In my opinion, this is one of the best performance/accuracy enhancements to make to any stock AR. It's worth every penny!

My customers compare various stock triggers in the shop to the SSA and many quickly ask for the Geissele SSA upgrade. Very easy instalation, just read the directions and use the slave pin--it's not an extra part that happened to wind up in the bag-- it's a very helpful little pin.

Went in easy. Good directions even a monkey like me could follow. Very smooth first stage, with a slight stop before the second stage. Second stage is then very light. The setup is smooth enough it almost feels like a single stage when firing quickly. But you can pause and take your time if you need too. Improvement to my Windham Weaponry SRC that was well worth the money.
