Fits my Mossberg 930 ...

Fits my Mossberg 930 Tactical Breacher barrel perfect. Came with two different lengh screws, had to use the longer ones and they barely lined up. Still a gap between the heat shield and the clamp part. Will do the job til it breaks and was cheap. Id like it to have better mounting hardware. Thats why I gave three stars.

Thanks to you guys, the manufacturer listened and I just received the results. There's extended arms that go around the receiver end of the barrel and the band clips have been widened and longer screws were also supplied. Haven't shot it yet so don't know how it will hold up to the heat of a hot barrel. Went on a treat with no customer mods.

The heat shield fits ...

The heat shield fits nicely. Snug but the two half moon parts that hold the upper portion to the barrel are too small and the screws are too short. If the screws were longer then maybe this would be a good buy but it isn't, personally it's trash and it's not worth the shipping to return it either. By the time you pay for the return you're left with a few bucks of the 15+ dollars spent to order it. Personally Midway shouldn't even be selling this cause everything I have bought from Midway has exceeded my expectations except for this item.

Broke during installation. Does not secure to rear of barrel at all, just with 4 screws at the front leaving it loose at the back.

Installed on a H&R/NEF ...

Installed on a H&R/NEF Pardner Protector 18.5" Fits the gun, but w/o anything to hold the rear part of the shield, it tends to pop up and snag on things like my case. Good price, stays cool & if it would secure better, would get a higher rating.

Weak mounting hardware, snapped off almost immediately. Nice finish. Looks great. Good price. Be careful when installing or dremel the hole bigger to fit barrel better and you will be OK.

Great looking heat shield, but as others have said, the two mounting brackets are worthless. One of them snapped during installation.If these brackets were made out of metal or some other stronger material, this would be one of the best heat shields on the market.

The only gripe was that even when fully tightened down it still fit loosely on my barrel. A little shimming fixed that, and it was easy to trim around the rifle sight.
