This range bag is probably the best all around bag for someone who only shoots one or two pistol classes. It will hold absolutely everything you would need for a day at the range. Muffs, mags, tons of ammo, cleaning gear, holsters, etc., all fit with the velcroed dividers, (2), included. There's also two padded pistol pouches which fit into lockable zippered compartments on either side of the bag. The materials and construction of this bag should last anyone a lifetime of use.

Well made from good ...

Well made from good materials. However, there is no padding, and no compartments for small items. The side compartments don't expand so anything you put in them bulges into the main compartment. The main compartment is open and undivided and so you have to unload the entire bag to find anything. If all you take to the range is one gun and ammo, then this bag is okay. If you shoot IDPA or something like that you should spend more and get a bigger bag.

Ordered this and to be honest I was skeptical - I had the feeling when I ordered it that at this price I would not be getting much - Well I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised! It looks and feels very well put together and even though I have not had it long enough to really abuse it I am very satisfied at both the quality and how much I have been able to fit into it - It holds pretty much everything I need and quite a bit that I don't really need but think I might someday - Great bang for the buck!

Love this bag, I was a little worried buying it because I was not able to find many pictures or videos of how it was laid out, but after so many 5-star reviews I gave it a try. I was disappointed a bit on the layout at first, but as I kept re-arranging my gear I think me and this bag came to an understanding and I figured out where to best keep everything. It's really grown on me in the last month. Love the look of it, line flat black color with a very nice padded inserts, Velcro pistol slots and locking zippers. The strap is ok but could have used a pad ( I know I'm just a complainer). I was able to fix a sig and xd holster and all into the Velcro slots, I have 2 folding ear muffs in one front pocket, and 2 glasses, 2 gloves, bright and small cleaning kit in the other pocket, and in the center I also have 2 more revolver rugs and several boxes of ammo. All in all I can fit 4-5 pistols and a few rounds of ammo or 2-3 pistols with 2-300 rounds of ammo and mags.

Bought for my son to store his magazines, and cleaning supplies in. Just the right size. Easily holds the Outers Ruger 10-22 cleaning kit, Black Dog 50 rnd drum, 3 sig 522 magazines, hearing protection and more. Only thing better would be to have the handles with a velcro closer, otherwise and excellent item.

This bag is worth every dime and more. My old range bag was pleading to go to pasture and this bag turned out to be the perfect replacement. I had purchased the small tactical pistol gun bag and it is great, but I am just as impressed if not more with the bag. For the money, the quality can't be beat. There is plenty of room for 2 pistols with separations to keep your guns from getting scratched. The compartments are big enough to carry plenty of ammo, eyes and ears and almost anything else you might find necessary for a day at the range. The bag carried my Ruger 22/45, S&W 6906, 10 boxes of .22lr., 3 boxes 50 round 9mm, shooting glasses, electronic hearing muffs, shoot n c's, a small bottle of oil, small driver set, 4 extra mags, a cloth, and I still had room to spare. I can find no reason to buy a more expensive bag. This range bag is sturdy, has plenty of room for a day at the range and arrives in a flash from Midway's shipping department. I don't think I'll ever need to buy a medium size range bag ever.

Although this is a review of the GunMate Range Bag, I have to make a comment on Midway USA and their commitment to fast shipping. When Larry Potterfield says he is committed "To be the best-run business in America, for the benefit of our Customers", believe it. My order was shipped the same day I ordered it and it arrived 2 days later. Enough said. And now for the Range Bag. I am very pleased with the design and construction. My son and I shoot IDPA and we see a lot of different range bags out there. I have not seen one that I would prefer over this one. The product description simply cannot convey the very high quality and versatility of this bag. More photos may have helped. The positive reviews helped with my decision. Final word, when I opened the box and examined one of the bags, I immediately ordered 2 more for my other sons.

First off I did expect to recieve a good durable product based on other reviews. But when I opened the the box and actually got my hands on this thing I was VERY pleased with the quality! The material is extremely rugged and the clasps for the shoulder strap are the best quality I have seen in a small shoulder bag. This is a great product! Highly recommend!

This is an ideal 2 pistol/revolver bag.Don't listen to the other reviews saying this bag has no dividers because it does. For the price this bag can't be beat. 2 pistols plus room for plenty of ammo/3 internal hook and loop dividers for hearing protection/mags/etc. Very happy with this bag. If you have more than two pistols you may want to consider a bigger bag as this will not accomodate much more than two pistols. If you've got two then this is the affordable bag you want.

Picked this up as my first bag and plan to order my Dad one too. Has a decent amount of space in the main compartment and in the 2 side ones. Another nice feature I discoved is you can roll up silhouette targets and then they fit nicely on the top in the straps used to zip it up. Keeps both hands free. It's been a good bag.
