Very good reloading data ...

Very good reloading data from the major bullet manufacturers and the powder companies. But be sure you have at least one complete reloading data manual to reference along with this caliber specific reloading guide.

I shoot the 68-69 grain bullets in my DPMS 1-9" upper. It seems to prefer the 69 gr Nosler so I was looking for data from Nosler on that bullet, but, the bullet was not included. The heavy bullet data from Hornady (68 and up) was also missing, probably because their book lists those bullets under 5.56 X 45. Also, no data for the Winchester 64gr power point. On the positive side, the Sierra data had separate loadings for AR-15 and bolt guns and this made the book worth buying.

Extremely disappointed. The reloading data was out of date. For example, the current Hornady reloading manual is the 7th edition. However, this book only included the data from the 5th edition. New Hornady bullets, i.e. 68gr Match, were not included.

Extremely disappointed in this book. This book is nothing more than photo copies of loading manuals and information off of the net. Doesn't include all popular bullets. I thought this book would have some custom loads but doesn't. Not intended for reloader who work with multiple calibers. In a nut shell, save your money and buy reloading manuals such as Hornady, Speer, Barnes, etc.

OK the quality of the printing and binding could be better but the price is right. This gives a synopsis of the listings of many reloading manuals for the loading of the caliber all in one place. This is my go to book for when I want to load this caliber. It may not have the latest and greatest listings but with judicious substitution you can pretty much get a starting point and go on from there with safety. I am a happy camper with this item and I recommend it for anyone who is more interested in reloading than having to spend time in researching for a good loading.

I bought this book at a local store and it's pretty good. The only bad thing I can say about it, the info is pretty generic and it is pretty accurate, but I would like it to go in more detail for a beginner. Very easy to understand, and a good quick reference. Did what I needed it to do, but they could go into a little more info and they would have a good book. They also need to get an actual book going, not a cheap paper back like it is...

Great product, a must for every reloader. I just started reloading and have had success with information on reloading books and the on the internet, but this book will give you very specific powder and specific bullet combinations. Like what powders for the Hornady 60 grain V-max and 55 grain Sierra (I could not find specific info on the V-max). Instead of just specific powders and bullet weights. It probably paid for itself by the money I saved trying to guess different bullet and powder combos. I will definitely buy the other manuals for every caliber I reload. The only bad thing I hear is that the quality of printing is bad. I didn't even notice, I just wanted the numbers and info. I wasn't looking for a sit down and relax book to read.

It's Ok. The printing is a little rough in places, so stuff like "max load" that's supposed to be in bold print doesn't always show up clearly. The one I got was written (printed? Copyrighted? ) in 2004, so it's 4 years out of date, and as a result doesn't have the newest powders or bullets. Reloader 10x is missing, for instance. I was hoping the information would be presented in a more digested form, and not just a cut-and-paste from the various manufacturers' data-sheets.Having said that, it's got a lot of information in it, and doesn't cost very much.
