Easy to install, works ...

Easy to install, works well with stock open or folded. Solid and well-made. Gets 4 stars due to non-matte finish, if it matches your receiver, consider it 5.

This is an excellent ...

This is an excellent product and a "must have" addition to an underfolder AK. Not only does it work great in the folded position, but the raised portion also allows "trigger finger sweep" engagement/disengagement without removing the dominant hand from the pistol grip in the unfolded position. I must mention, however, for my application (Romanian WASR with round stock arms) it did require minor fitting. The normal checkered finger pad on a standard AK safety is extended on this model so it interfered with the round stock arm when folded (I believe it was intended to be used with the square Russian Style arms). But a quick swipe on the grinding wheel and another quick swipe with a touch up marker = problem solved. Overall, a little bit of fitting is far outweighed by the benefits. Well worth the cost of admission.

Easy to install, well ...

Easy to install, well made. It allows you to deactivate the safety without having to take your hand from the pistol grip and by just using your trigger finger. The secondary notch clears the underfolding stock without any issues.
