I like the Barnes manual, ...

I like the Barnes manual, but it doesn't show data for a lot of powders. A lot of Ramshot powder data is there though and the loads are pretty good ones. The loads I've tried have been accurate and velocities have been close. I've also used the data put out by Ramshot for their powders. They do show heavier powder charges with the same bullets than Barnes data in some instances if you're looking for higher velocities. There is some data for other powders in the manual. I use the load shown for the 150gr .308 dia. with H414 in the .30-06. It shoots under an inch and the velocity is real close to what the book says when shot across my Oehler chronograph.

I, too, was highly disappointed in the amount of content in the book. Before buying the book, I bought Barnes bullets in .22 cal, 6.8, .30 cal. There is hardly any info in the book on loading them. Projectile, more than powder, is important to me, and they failed.

Not a good reloading book ...

Not a good reloading book at all. Only has 1 9mm bullet with a choice of only to powders. Get a Lee reloading book and you will be set.

I have 5 reloading manuals and I am sorry to say this book is a disappointment for me. I like the way it looks and the lay out but the information is very poor. The rifle selections were lacking on choices of powder and the whole reason I wanted it was I shoot their tipped triple shock x and to my disappointment there were no "ttsx" loads. As for their pistol loads, there is one page on 9mm. Come on! Thats like only having one gun. I sent it back and cried all the way home. I expected more from an outstanding bullet manufacturer.

I waited, and waited and ...

I waited, and waited and waited and then FINALLY found a copy only to see that it is half as useful as #3. Many calibers have been dropped and there is a serious lack of data for the calibers that are listed. They must've gotten a deal on Big Game and Magnum powders because there is plenty data on that but almost none with H or IMR 4350. Huh? Not only that, they seemed to have lawyered up for this one as most of the TSX loads are actually lighter than the original X bullet loads, and nowhere near the XLC loads. Disappointed is an understatement. I feel robbed by Barnes.

I was disappointed that a few rifle calibers are not in this edition. The 22 Hornet, 250 Savage and 300 Savage data are missing. These calibers are improved with Barnes bullets why they did not include them is beyond me.

Very well made, great ...

Very well made, great looks but.. there is almost no Vihtavouri and Accurate data. Moreover you get only 6-10 different powders per bullet in selected caliber, but there is a lot of free space on each page... I expected to get sufficient information - I did not.

I was disappointed because I was wanting load data for the 204 varmint grenade. No 204 data at all, along with other calibers.
