I have had this product in my gun (336) for some time now and I love it. I was worried by some reports of light primer strikes but after installing it and a few trips to the range, not one misfire and no light strikes! Best thing by far in my gun. It makes shooting much more enjoyable because of easier cycling.

Bought two of these. Put one on a 336/30-30, the other on an 1895/.45-70 . Both started misfiring, never had that problem before. Installed 1 #6 brass washer behind spring, no more misfires. Still much lighter than factory. Pleased with performance, disappointed instructions didn't suggest using washers in the event of misfires.

Wolff spring was longer ...

Wolff spring was longer than original in my 1895g. Trigger pull gage showed a little over 3 lbs. would have given 5 stars but have not fired it yet. SprIng wire is evidently smaller in diameter.

I installed these springs in both my North Haven 336 and North Haven 1894c. Reliably fires both magnum and standard primers and gives much lighter lever action.

Dropped right in my 39A. ...

Dropped right in my 39A. Lowered trigger pull noticeably. No light strikes, no mis-fires. Would, and probably will buy another.

This spring is amazing! ...

This spring is amazing! It dropped my trigger pull down to around 3lbs. If you do not like a light trigger in your 30-30 be warned. 50+ rounds with no misfires or issues of any kind in my Marlin 336.

Tried spring in Model 39 ...

Tried spring in Model 39 but it didn't work. Would have to strike the cartridge twice before it would go off. Am going to try spring in 336. Seemed to reduce trigger pull about 5 oz in .22.

I installed these springs ...

I installed these springs in both my 336 30-30 and my 39A .22 to make the acion and trigger pull lighter. I liked the results as far as action and trigger pull but experienced 20% misfires in the 336 and 80% misfires in the 39a. I have since gone back to Marlin factory springs.

I have installed two of these springs. One in my Model '94 .44 Mag., and one in my Model 336 .35 Rem. Both work great! It made cocking and chambering a round easier and faster and I have never had a misfire! Great product!

'07 Marlin 336, installed ...

'07 Marlin 336, installed in 5-10 minutes. I was always paranoid about "dropping" the hammer for the all important shot with the factory spring. Eased the hammer tension as advertised. Now it is easier to cycle and move the hammer from half-cock to full-cock positions in either direction with ease. No misfires.
