In 1947, Frank Snow, Jim Spivey, and Loren Harbor started Sierra Bullets in Santa Fe Springs, California. From these humble beginnings in a small Quonset hut, Sierra saw significant growth over the decades with a continuous commitment to quality and innovation. In 1990, Sierra moved to Sedalia, Missouri, in a new state-of-the-art facility, including the construction of an underground 300-meter test range, the longest privately owned underground bullet test facility in the world. This facility allowed Sierra to control for environmental factors that would be impossible to control in an outdoor environment. Sierra is known around the world for not only their rifle match bullets: Matchking, Tipped MatchKing (TMK), but also their rifle hunting bullets: GameKing, Tipped GameKing, and Gamechanger.
