Why does my shopping cart remain empty when I try to add an item?
Our shopping cart functionality is based on "cookies" or customized pieces
of information our site stores on your hard drive. Because cookies only contain
text, they cannot transmit a virus or damage your system. They cannot gather information
about you or your computer. When you can only add one item to your shopping cart,
it is usually because your web browser is not handling these cookies properly. In
most web browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera, etc.),
users have the ability to enable, disable or restrict cookies.
- For Internet Explorer or Firefox, you should be able to go to Tools > Internet
Options > Privacy (tab) and enable or reduce the number of restrictions to resolve the
problem.
- For Safari, you should be able to go to Tools > Preferences > Security (tab) and enable or reduce the number of restrictions to resolve
the problem.
- For Chrome, you should be able to go to Tools > Options > Under the Hood (tab) > Content settings... and enable or reduce the number of restrictions to resolve
the problem.
- If these solutions don't help, please email us at
customerservice@midwayusa.com with details pertaining to your operating system
and web browser (with version number) and we will be happy to assist you.
- Please keep in mind that specific details for managing your cookies may change from what is stated above based upon what specific version of web browser you are using.
