History

MidwayUSA is a family-owned, catalog and internet retailer of shooting, hunting and outdoor products. The owners turned their passion for shooting sports into a career by opening a small retail firearms store named Ely Arms in 1977. In 1979, the name changed to Midway Arms, Inc. Eventually, mail order sales dominated and the retail store closed in 1984. For more information on our history, please read more About MidwayUSA.

It is important to note our dedication to the shooting sports. Many of our Employees enjoy both hunting and shooting, and we take pride in having a knowledgeable customer service staff. Currently, we have a number of competitive shooters on our staff, including regular participants in the coveted NRA Bianchi Cup competition.
