Definition for "Boone and Crockett Club" : Non-profit organization founded in 1887 by Theodore Roosevelt. His vision was to establish a coalition of dedicated conservationists and sportsmen who would provide the leadership needed to address the issues that affect hunting and wildlife habitats. B&C is also famous for its big game record program, which is a listing of the biggest/best game based on the organization's own scoring grid for each species first started in 1932 by Prentiss N. Gray.
