Definition for "International Practical Shooting Confederation" : (IPSC) A shooting competition founded at the International Pistol Conference of 1976 in Columbia, Missouri. This pistol competition focuses on the three areas of its motto: Diligentia, Vis, Celeritas (Accuracy, Power, Speed). The IPSC competitions, known as World Shoots, are held in a different venue around the world every three years.
