Product Information

These solid steel rings lock down and release with just a few turns of the adjustable levers. QRW design allows you to remove and reattach a scope and return within a half-inch of the original point of impact. The rings are equipped with Torx head screws.

CHOOSING RINGS: Ring height is determined by measuring the outside objective (bell) diameter on your scope. If you aren't sure which rings will suit your needs, please refer to the Ring Height Application Chart.

I have used both the Leupold QRW and PRW rings on a number of firearms. In my opinion they are the best value on the market. I have never had any issue with these rings. I especially like the square base keys. They index firmly in place and do not try to ride up on the base slots and mar them.

Rings would not stay ...

Rings would not stay tight under heavy recoil, [375 h&h], and eventually broke, however another set I put on a much smaller caliber have worked well.

This product is used on my Target, Tactical and Hunting rifles from .223 and the .300 WSM to the .458 Lott and .404 Jeffery without any problems at all from recoil or travel bumps and knocks. Taking the scope off and putting it back on is always within a 1" re-zero at 100 yards.

Saw a set of these in my local gun store and thought "$80 for scope rings - way too expensive." Took them out of the package and examined them closely and was extremely impressed. Went to get them later and they were gone! But Midway saved the day. I needed these for a Varmint flattop AR-15 with a very large scope (4-16x 56mm). They work perfectly and I can remove the scope and come within 1/4 inch of zero every time. Great product.

I happened to read the so-so review with the guy who had the rings on a "Heavy" recoiling 375, and they broke. This can happen occasionally, however I have been using the Leupold QRWs on Winchester M70s for about 7 years now, on rifles chambered in 416 Remington, 416 Taylor, 416 Rigby, 458 Winchester, 458 Lott, 470 Capstick, and I think you get the idea! These rifles do not sit in the gun rack and get rubbed, they get shot, and shot a lot. I have one Winchester 458 Lott that I have shot over 800 rounds through, it has taken 4 elephants. I have a 458 Winchester that has had 1500 rounds through it and taken 3 lions. Many hundreds, if not thousands of rounds shot through the others chambered in various 416s, 358s, and 470s, ALL are equipped with Leupold QRW Rings, and through all this I have only had two break! I would not even consider going to the field without the advantages that the Leupold QRW rings can give you! They work, I have never removed and replaced a scope, aimpoint, or any optic with QRWs and the point of impact be more than 1" at 50 yards, and 90% of the time or better 1/4 inch! Not to mention taking a spare scope already sighted using the QRWs, imagine being on a elephant hunt and you break your scope! Simple, you have a replacement ready to go, already sighted, a simple turn of the levers and you are back in business! How about follow up on wounded animal, simple turn of the levers, you have your iron sights to sort it out! I am going to Tanzania at the end of the month, a Winchester M70 458 Lott and a Winchester M70 416 Remington, both equiped with QRW rings, and spare scopes sighted in if I have a problem! No thanks to the others, make all my rings Leupold QRWs!

These are very solid ...

These are very solid mounting rings. I have them on all of my AR rifles. They hold zero well when optics are removed and reinstalled. The only problem I have with them is the initial set up of the scope. When you tighten these rings you really have to watch the reticle. Tighten one side slightly more than the other and you will be off level immediatly. It is a very frusterating task if you like your reticle perfectly level with the receiver. I have mounted many scopes and never had this much trouble lining up the reticle properly. That being said, once you have everything lined up, you are good to go and the scope will not move. For the AR rifle, on top of YHM riser blocks, they work well and look clean. If I had it to do over again, I would go spend the extra money and buy the Mark4, Nightforce, or Badger Ordnance rings. Buy right, cry once.
