Great vest especially this summer in TX. Well constructed and breathes great. The two pockets up front are more than enough for ammo but lacking additional storage for spent rounds. Would buy again though.

My primary reason for ...

My primary reason for buying this vest was to have a little more shoulder protection when shooting rifles off a bench. I wanted something non-restrictive and lightweight. This vest meets these requirements. It offers a lot of adjustment in fit which was good for my use. Material and workmanship is good.

I find the Beretta Silver Pigeon Vest very durable and it performs well at the range. I would buy it again if needed. It looks sharp on you and it is not hot.

The vest is handsome and ...

The vest is handsome and well constructed. The short coming is that it does not have double pockets which makes it awkward while shooting trap to load, unload and transfer fired shells to a pocket on the opposite side of the vest.

Handsome and well made. But for use in trap shooting it falls short. There are only single pockets on either side rather than the double pockets needed to hold unshot and shot shells.

The Beretta vest was ...

The Beretta vest was clearly designed for a shooter by a shooter. I used a safety pin to position the gel-pad precisely where I wanted it. The pad is thick enough to dampen recoil without effecting LOP. The shell holder belt loop and generous ammunition pockets provide the shooter with great flexibility while maintaining a tight efficient shooting "kit".
