Lyman Turbo Brite Brass Case Polish is ideal for use as an additive when using untreated corn cob or walnut hull media. Turbo Brite also works with treated media to bring brass to a high luster shine. To activate media use 1 tablespoon per pound of media. This formula may also be used with treated media and works well with both corncob and walnut hull media. Technical Information:

Great product! Be sure to ...

Great product! Be sure to read #1 on the directions: Shake well before use. If you do this, you'll have a thick, white, and very effective cleaning additive for your media.I've used this to help clean cases that have been fired with black powder, and it made them look new again in only a couple of hours. If you shoot black powder cartridges, you know that's really saying something. It also eliminated the dust from my cleaning media.

I purchased this in an ...

I purchased this in an attempt to try a new product. I had been using Midways polish with great results. I believe Midway stopped making this fine product. Anyways, I used this stuff on some once fired .223 cases that were fairly soiled. The results were poor to say the least. The necks were still filthy after TEN hours of tumbling. I have since purchased some Frankford polish and will let you know how it works. Bottom line... does not work for me and expensive. BTW it pours like water and you have to use a ton. Editor's Note: The Midway polish is now marketed under the Frankford Arsenal brand and is sold in an 8 ounce bottle (198878) or 32 ounce bottle (472108).

I had been tumbling a few dozen tarnished cases in Lyman walnut for about 16 hours, and saw no improvement. I removed the cases and added this polish by trickling it into a running tumbler, at the prescribed dose. The few clumps that formed were gone in ten minutes, so I added the difficult cases. In one hour, they were the cleanest, shinest cases I have ever produced from a tumbler. I am quite impressed, and am going to re-polish all my on-deck cases.

I've used this for years, it's always done a great job for me. Make sure to shake the bottle well and let the tumbler run at least 30 minutes before adding cases. Sometimes I have to break up a few clumps by hand and let it run a few extra minutes to finish mixing in, but it's not a problem. I even use it to polish the chrome on my Kenworth. It's the best stuff I've found yet for getting the cooked on bugs off the exhaust. Much better than the commercial polishes from the chrome shops.

This stuff works great when used as instructed. I found if there is clumping on initial use, just reach into the bowl and break them up between your fingers. It will eventually work into the media. Not rocket science here.The brass will have some residue on them, so check your progress after wiping one off with a terry cloth. When satisfied, separate the media and brass and put the brass out on an terry cloth towel and chase them around for a few. This is much faster than wiping each casing individually.

Do Not buy this product! It ruined my corn media after one use. It Never mixed in and clumped into a mess.Now I have to pitch it all and start fresh with new media! Site will not let me give it Zero stars!

Works great. Even cleans very old mil brass to brand new condition! As to clumping up the media, I followed the directions and tumbled for 1/2 hr BEFORE adding any brass and its done an excellent job. As to the guy who couldnt get his 223 brass clean, try not over loading the amount of brass your trying to clean, the more room the media has to work on your brass the easier it is to clean. The brass I cleaned was from the Vietnam war in 762X51mm (308) and it only took 8 hrs.

Works fantastic when you follow directions. For those that suggest Brasso or BrassMate products; be aware that any product with ammonia is harmful to cartridge brass. Use only products that are designed for cartridge brass.

I have to say, it's a good product. I just don't reload very many shells so I found a liquid cleaner called BrassMate that only takes about 15 seconds to clean my .41 Desert Eagle casings.

IF you FOLLOW instructions you will NOT have any problems, I treated some Walnut media (Frankfort) with the recommended amount and the brass came out looking new, it even did a fair job in the primer pockets. you have to add the solution to the media BEFORE you place the brass in and let it mix for about 20 min, I let it go for about 40 before I added the brass, once it is mixed with the media it will last quit some time before you have to recharge it
