JP EnterpriseThermal Dissipator to act as a heat sink, allowing an AR-15 barrel to remain much cooler during extended shooting sessions with high round count. Increasing surface area by 700%, the Thermal Dissipator far exceeds traditional fluting in transferring heat from the barrel during sustained fire. The 6061 Aluminum featured deep fins, wicking heat away from the chamber area to maintain a uniform barrel temperature. This not only preserves accuracy over the life of the barrel, but also reduces throat erosion, extending the barrel life.

The extruded sleeve of the Thermal Dissipator is split into two parts which can be clamped over a properly contoured barrel. Designed specifically for JP Supermatch barrels, the heat sink clamps on between the gas block and receiver. The dissipator will also fit other barrels that are contoured to the proper dimension under the handguard. The low profile design allows the use of most free float handguards.
