Frankford Arsenal UB Series Utility Boxes work great for storing bullets, brass, small gun parts and hundreds of other items around the shop and home and are reusable. Made from a tough, solid, non-transparent plastic blue opaque polypropylene, these boxes are designed for a lifetime of assorted chores. The UB-16 has the same footprint as the taller UB-36. You are sure to find a use for it in your shop. Unlike the smaller UB-6 and UB-10 which have protrusions from the lid which divide the box in half, the UB-16 and UB-36 protrusions divide the box in thirds (see photo) just like a die box.I tried different dies, and they fit IF your die doesn't have a round lock ring. The round, knurled lock ring keeps the box from closing. You may also have to crank in or remove the seating plug or decapping pin to allow the dies to fit. So while it makes a great utility box, it may also make a die box with a little effort.

Great storage box but....it warps when exposed to Hoppes #9. I tried to use them to store my bore snakes. The lids warp up preventing closing. Use them for storing non-chemical items. I really appreciate Midway using the box for bulk bullets.

This is a quality box for a great price. I don't use the box for ammo, so I don't need the latch to snap so tight. I snip a bit of the plastic off the box where the top latch catches, so it is easier to open and close.

I found a really good use ...

I found a really good use for these. I use them to store cast bullets. If I stack them with the base down I can get 3 layers of .357/140gr with 196 per layer. I place a thin cardstock between the layers and when full the top will close and lock. Works really well and very durable, should last forever.

I bought the boxes to ...

I bought the boxes to store cast bullets for 38 special thru 500 S&W. The boxes hold 100+ per box, which I stack in 2 layers. For the smaller calibers no modification of the boxes is required. When used to store 44 or larger bullets,I have to trim off (with a dremel tool) the 4 top ridges on the inside of the box's lid, which is a quick and easy task. The boxes' are very well made, inexpensive and snap stays closed. I will buy them again. They are an excellent way to store bullets and small parts. Recommended.

Good fit and finish. Good price. I have had no problems with the hinge breaking. The only negative is that if the box is full of shells and the box drops from table height or out of the car, the box will break.

I just ordered 4 of ...

I just ordered 4 of theses and wish I had ordered more. They seem to be very well made and store all kinds of reloading "stuff". I wish I could get them in a quantity of 12 order though. Again, MidwayUSA hasn't let me down.
