Product Information

The Scopecoat is constructed of high quality 2mm thick neoprene laminated with nylon. Its simple design safeguards any kind of scope from dings and scratches, dust, dirt and moisture. Neoprene has a 5% moisture absorbency, which takes moisture away from the scope and helps protect it from rust and corrosion. Scopecoat is a proven design that has been field tested and recommended by the North American Hunting Club. Scopecoats are proudly made in America. Will not work on scopes with tall target style turrets.

Recommended fit is either "relaxed same length" or slightly stretched

Neoprene has a 5% moisture absorbency which wicks moisture away from the scope

May be washed in warm water then turned in side out to dry

I use ScopeCoat scope ...

I use ScopeCoat scope covers exclusively and find them to be better for the rain, snow, and cold (sometimes sub-zero F) temperatures we often hunt in than other types. They give very good protection to the scope allowing a reliable view upon their removal. They aren't noisy and they can be easily turned inside out to remove snow, water, or debris that might have collected inside. I like them a lot better than the snap open type of cover since these don't come open or off accidentally yet they are very easy to remove when needed. They can be stored quickly and neatly in a pocket when not wanted on the scope.

The Scopecoat Scope Cover ...

The Scopecoat Scope Cover 5-3/4" x 30mm, is a very well made product. I have a Barska AC10984 red dot rifle scope, and because of the odd shape of the sunshade, it's impossible to place dust covers to protect the lens during storage or transportation. The cover has enough "stretch" to come off quickly when needed, yet doesn't tear apart under rough use. Cover resists water, but can be improved with a light application of Scotch Guard. All in all a great product from a great supplier. Midway USA is always excellent to work with.

I have several Scopecoat ...

I have several Scopecoat products, and have absolutely no complaints about them. They all fit well, are durable enough, and protect my optics from the elements. They do what theyre supposed to. I intend to purchase one for all my optics and barrels. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.

I have used this scope ...

I have used this scope cover for several months and am very pleased. It resists moisture and is easy to put on and remove. When in the field I can simply stuff it in a cargo pocket in my pant leg until it is needed again. For me this is much better than scope covers.

This small Scopecoat ...

This small Scopecoat cover worked great for the low power tactical scope on my AR -15. I have Scopecoats on all of my scopes and have used them for 12 or more years hunting Deer and Elk in Arizona and Texas. Their waterproof and easy to remove when youre in a hurry.

Having just installed a ...

Having just installed a new Nikon scope on my Ruger .257 Roberts, I was happy to see what seemed like a nice, cleanly designed way to protect it.I guess I had higher expectations. Although the thickness is clearly listed as 2mm neoprene, I wish the manufacturer had seen fit to make this out of 4 or 5mm thickness material, which would have given a much better level of shock absorption and protection.2mm is pretty dang thin. It keeps dust and so forth off the lenses, but so would a bandana tied around the scope.On the plus side, it's clearly and proudly labeled "Made in USA."

So far so good. It lasted ...

So far so good. It lasted one hunting season including time at the range. It's always on my Nikon Prostaff 4-12x40 that I got on sale at Midway. I also have the Butler creek flip caps on my scope and it fits a little snug but no snags or tears as of yet. I would recommend this product to anybody who wants to slip a layer of protection over their scope.
