Very nice case. Seems ...

Very nice case. Seems durable enough inside and out. Probably won't get dry rot like some of my 60 year old cases are getting. OAL of case is 42". My 22 RF Win. 61 is 41" long and would not fit, 40.5" is about max, although I didn't buy it for this gun. Still a good case for the price.

The case is of a good ...

The case is of a good quality for this price range, and it comes with a manufacturer's one-year warranty . It fits my Glenfield 30-30 well. The manufacturer paid attention to the details; the stitching is good, the fabric is heavy, zipper is good. Padding is average, but still good. Overall this is a good case for the money. I would have gladly paid more if it had more padding or if it was made in the US. If I need anything heavier than this, I'll use a hard case.

I retract my previous ...

I retract my previous rating. The zipper head just came off and won't go back on. Case is now a scabbard. Won't buy another 'made in China' product!

I've been using this ...

I've been using this product for a couple of months. It fits my Henry H001 22 lever action perfectly. its been very durable and seems extremely well made. I recomend this item for anyone needing a gun case for a shorter weapon or youth gun.

I bought this for my Marlin 1895STBL lever action. Fits great! The case has plenty of room for the large loop lever on my Marlin. Good case for any of you Guide Gun owners out there.

I was skeptical about the ...

I was skeptical about the former reviewer's post regarding this product, and purchased anyway. I'm glad I did. I also have a Rem. 870 Express ("Compact Jr.") that I bought for my petite girlfriend (12" LOP) that also has an OAL of 39". It fits perfectly with a little room to spare. The muzzle is enclosed without a zipper, preventing muzzle wear. The nylon zipper is also less abrasive than brass, and the price can't be beat.

Purchased for a Remington ...

Purchased for a Remington 870 Express which is 39 inches long. Bought this case which states it's 40 inches long...guess what..shotgun DOES NOT fit...by the time I pay to ship back, better off throwing it away...
