Heat-treated, wear-resistant metal Pellets are precisely manufactured to ensure nearly identical construction and consistency in weight and size. Super Points are designed for long range shooting.

Technical Information

Airgun Pellets

Material: Lead

Styles: Airgun pellets are available in several styles, all based on the modern "diablo" design. "Diablo" pellets are larger on both ends, and have a thin area in the middle which seperates the head from the skirt, or base.

Wadcutter:

Wadcutter pellets are best suited for plinking and target shooting. Their flat heads make scoring on paper targets easy, and the wadcutter design is widely known for its stability and accuracy.

Pointed:

Pointed pellets are best suited for hunting small game and pest control. Their pointed heads provide maximum penetration.

Dome:

The rounded head of domed pellets decreases wind resistance and allows for maximum down range energy and accuracy. Domed pellets are good for long range (50 meters) target shooting and hunting, and work best in magnum powered air rifles.

Hollow Point:

The hollow point is designed for maximum expnsion at short ranges and low velocities. It combines the stability of the wadcutter design with the increased down range energy of the dome design.

Cylindrical:

The cyndrical pellet is slightly pointed at the tip, tapers in towards the middle, and flares at the base. It is good for hunting and pest control. The cylindrical design makes it one of the most hard hitting pellets available

This is not a pellet to ...

This is not a pellet to be used in a basic entry-level rifle or most pistols. I use them in my Crosman 2100 but this is the lowest power level I would attempt to use them in. My particular rifle delivers about 720 fps with a standard weight 7.9g lead pellet and shoots these heavy for caliber pellets at 640 fps. It really improves the effectiveness of a good shot on squirrels, and this is its purpose, as a hunting pellet in a powerful rifle. It has nearly twice the killing effectiveness of the standard weight pellets. From chronograph measurements at the muzzle and 20 yards downrange I found that this pellet has more velocity at the 20 yard line than many of the pellets that left the muzzle at over 700 fps! So it packs a punch and delivers it at the ranges you are going to most often need it. It is also wonderfully accurate. So if you have a gun that can get it going at around 650 fps from the muzzle and you need a great pest-thumper, this is likely one of if not your best bet.

These pellets are consistent, accurate, and hit like a truck out of my Gamo Hornet. So far large thick plastic containers full of water, have been the only thing I have been able to capture one of these in.

Using the new Benjamin ...

Using the new Benjamin Trail NP XL 1500 with an advertised 1500fps I achieved very consistent grouping, with several of the shots touching in the same group. I also performed the "phone book" test to check the penetration of the pellet. At 25yds. and conducting a three shot test, I saw an average penetration of over 600 pages. Now I'm not sure what other pellets are capable of, but I do know that over 1" of penetration through a solid phone book is very impressive to me, especially for a 10.5oz. pellet. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a very solid all around pellet.

I use these pellets in several "Cummins Tool Sale" $30 spring air pellet rifles I own. I actually got higher velocities from these heavier pellets then the normal weight pellets with these guns -- don't know why, but that's the way it worked out with the spring air style guns. Very accurate and hard-hitting -- easily kills gophers out to 50 foot range (thats a long way for these guns). So, if you have a spring air-style pellet gun, these pellets are the way to go -- heavier is better.

I have an RWS/Dana 350 ...

I have an RWS/Dana 350 Magnum. I bought a variety of pellets to test in the rifle. (Gamo Hunter, Gamo Ballistic Tip, Beaman Silver Arrow, Crossman Ultra Magnum) The Crossmans are by far the best penetrators, the most accurate and hardest hitting of all weights and styles I shot. FYI, this was the only pellet that was able pass completely through a sheet of 3/4" plywood at 40 feet out of the 350. These are the ones you want to shoot if your rifle is a magnum spring gun with 1100+ FPS. They are hammers!If you have a lesser powered rifle (I also have an RWS/Dana 34) The RWS Superdome 7.7 grain is the best pellet in a rifle with just a tad less zip. Many a squirrel taken with this combo at up to 30 yards.

I used these in a quest 1000 and while they seem accurate, they are too heavy compared to Beeman silver stings which rip right through cans, wood, etc. They ricochet off tin cans so watch out, almost never make it through the can.
