A good product for its ...

A good product for its intended use; short term place to lean a rifle or shotgun. Nice to take to a bird hunting camp. Magnet sticks to side of your truck and you have a place to lean your unloaded shotguns while you take care of the dogs. It is not a gun rack for a closet.

I needed a cheap, effective gun rack to use in my closet. I couldn't find any wooden ones that weren't expensive and difficult to put up, and poking around Midway this seemed like a good candidate. I've got 6 of them now, they are sticky backed and attach easily to a wall, and I can now neatly store all my long guns.My only complaint is that the rest doesn't come off the wall far enough for some firearms with high sights.

Not really very useful. Foam is very weak and the "teeth" don't stick out far enough to hold many rifles. The weight of an average rifle is enough to defeat the foam. The magnetic strip it comes with is very weak. I was hoping to use this with a folding cart to create a collapsible moving rack for competitions, but even after strapping the rifles down with bungees when pressed against this rack, any motion was enough to send the rifles in one direction or the other with very little help from the foam to keep them in place. It might be adaptable to other purposes. You may also have better luck if you're planning to simply stick it somewhere with the provided adhesive.

Better than nothing, but don't trust it much.Foam is very soft with small slits and holes (for fishing poles - which it is actually much better suited for)combined with a weak magnet strip are an accident looking for a place to happen. It will not support gun(s)leaning at a right angle even the slightest bit.
