I bought this scope for my 44mag carbine. The long eye relief allows a comfortable and natural feel when bringing the gun up to the eye. I dont have to creep in or out of the scope to get a full sight picture...the crosshairs are on the fine side and there may be times the fine crosshairs blend into the brush in low light. Other than that this is well worth the price with good clear glass and fit and finish..

What a great little scope! I wanted an ~2.5X scope to non-machine mount (S&K 1470 Insta Mount) on my 30-06 1903 Springfield rifle. The Barska Compact Contour 2.5X 20mm perfectly fits my interest. The optics and finish are amazing for such a low-cost scope.Shooting different hand loaded ammo up to 200gr showed that the reticule doesn't shift at all after many rounds fired. Appreciated with this scope is the ease of finger adjustment, bringing 1 MOA groups exactly on target center was easy, the scope clicks are well calibrated. Also appreciated was the very generous 5+" eye relief and light weight.A low-cost scope doesn't necessary mean poor quality. The Barska Compact proves that in spades.

I put this scope on my Marlin 94 in .41 mag. and it works very well. I'm a big guy and had to add a custom pad on the rifle to make it a bit longer so I could clear the scope better, but overall I love the scope, I have had no problems with it. For the price you can't beat it!

I found this a great little scope for the money. I purchased it for my Ruger 581 Ranch Rifle and had no trouble zeroing in or putting rounds on target. Perfect partner for my coyote gun.

Mounted this scope on my model 700 rem. in 308 win. caliber. Considering that it is only 2.5 power, I was able to shoot several 1.5 inch groups at 100 yards. Sharp reticle and good clarity. Was pleasantly impressed with the overall quality, especially the precision of the elevation and windage adjustments. Will buy another for my model 94 30-30.

I have this scope on a marlin 1895 guide gun. It dials right in, I like the tabs on the adj.so you don't need a coin or screw driver to adj. I shot the gun about 90 times in one session and scope never changed p.o.i. I think this is a good scope for for the money. The optics are not bad for a scope this price. I would buy another one.
