Good fit and finish; high ...

Good fit and finish; high quality. Installed on a Bushmaster Shorty heavy barrel - plenty of clearance. Covers are functional, but the same hard plastic as the guards. TIGHT fit - two guys, four hands and lots of colorful language to get it on, but no rattles once on. I haven't got the barrel hot to see it it gets soft when warm, but it's got plenty of ventilation. I mounted a vertical grip below and a SureFire on the side - works great.

Decent handguards if you have gorilla hands. Seriously, when you put on the rail covers it's pretty huge. Oh and you can't use military style rail covers with these, they won't lock in....Read complete review

I had no problem with the size. I don't think my hands are that big either. My problem is with the construction of it. At first, I thought I was putting it on wrong because it would not go on strait. I took it off and looked at it while not on the rifle and the whole thing was twisted. It's cheap, that is about the only upside to it.

I bought this for a ...

I bought this for a Bushmaster Superlight MAZ-C1516SLORC that is my wife's rifle. She's small and needs a very light rifle...the Bushmaster Superlight is perfect for her, but there is no way to mount a front flip-up iron sight in case whatever optic you're using goes T/U. This TAPCO hand guard is a great replacement for the round one that comes on the rifle. I put it on in 10 minutes using a hand guard tool. It is a tight fit, but I like that. Don't want it moving around or rattling. Looks like it belongs on the rifle, and allows us to add a flip-up front sight if necessary. Also allows us to put a Grip Pod on the bottom section, and makes a place for a green laser on one of the side rails. This is a well-made product, tough but light, excellent fit, and solved my dilemma with the Bushmaster factory configuration. I heartily recommend it. It's also a GREAT value.

I read the reviews where others said it was to big but i have big hands and for the price i thought i would give it a try. This thing is Way to fat to be useable, unless your mamoth. On the positive side it is stable once mounted and rails seem to be spec. I tradded it out for the UTG and am much happier. I would not buy it again.

The handguard fit ...

The handguard fit perfectly on my Olympic upper with no modification as mentioned by others.Just over sized enough to allow for rapid cooling.Well made and well worth the cost without spending a fortune.

These Handguard Quad ...

These Handguard Quad Rails were exactly what I was looking for, an easy way to mount accessories for my Colt M-4. The rails are made of heavy duty plastic and fit snugly. I do not have a problem with the circumference even though I have small hands. Anyway I plan to mount a vertical grip bipod and will not be using the handguards for support while shooting. I did find the handguards hard to install and finally had my gunsmith do it for me for $10.00 There is an interlock between the guards that is hard to manipulate. Overall, I am very pleased especially with the price. I rather have an inexpensive way to mount accessories than to have to drill for permanent mounts. Try'em, you're like them and be glad that you did.

Selected this product for ...

Selected this product for my second M4 Colt. Easy to install but the fit is off just a bit leaving a space between the upper and lower.Fit is snug enough to its advantage. Too large for my hands. I left the rail covers off for a better feel. For me you get what you pay for!
