Finally some accessories of the 74! Used on a Bulgarian 74 from Century Arms. Mag fit into receiver without having to shave anything off -It was a perfect fit. Texture and ribs on mag add a great look, but more than that they are easier to maintain grip as you pull out of your pouch, load and handle your rifle. It has double mag followers. Spring felt "heavy duty" enough, so much that the last three were a tough fit: loaded all thirty w/ no problem at all (but on the same note; 28rds to a mag is preferred for me, less chance for issues after long term exposure to dust and such). Feeds just fine. I have only had them for a week now and have only put 90rds out. More shooting to come, but with a life time warranty you can't go wrong. The only reason for the 4 stars....I like the solid polymer coated steel mags such as the Bulgarian & Bakelite Soviet mags. They have the rugged durability of steel, yet the edge of tactically silent and subdued finish of the polymer. But then again, if the Tapco's Polymer wears down over time from inserting mag over and over, YOU STILL HAVE THE LIFETIME WARRANTY! Great product, Highly Recommended.

I've purchased this product in all variants of color. The mag is well build and very solid. The springs are excellent. These mags fit in my AK74 better than the mil surplus mags. I've fired at least 60 rounds through each magazine that I own and have had zero issues.

I love this magazine. I got it for my Saiga 5.45 model that I converted into an AK-74 platform. It functions great, and it's the only mag I've found that always feeds the bullets in properly without the need of a bullet guide being installed in my rifle. I will admit I wish it still came in OD Green because that's my rifle's color scheme, but I got 4 of them and they are great.

This mag isn't as durable as a military mag because there is no steel reinforcement in the feed lips or locking lugs, but if you want a cheap reliable range mag the Tapco mags work great. One thing about the one that I received, it would only hold 29 rounds instead of 30, no matter what I did. I took the follower out and took a little off the bottom with a bench grinder, and it will hold 31 rounds easily now. So far it seems to be an ok range mag after 2 minutes of modification.

Fits my century arms tantal sporter perfect! Seem to be heavy duty springs. Also they look pretty nice! I haven't shot out of them yet, so I guess we'll see soon enough.

Tapco makes the best polymer mags for AKs in the world. I give 5 stars for the product and 5 stars for the service. I ordered a total of 8 mags on Saturday and received them on Wednsday. Shipping was only $9 and had them 4 days later. You can not beat that.

Got two of these for my Arsenal SGL31. They work very well. No jams, and they insert into the weapon cleanly. PRO: Maglula fits/loads this comfortably, magazine is waffled (most 5.45 mags aren't), it's American and affordable. CON: There is no hole drilled in the back bottom of the mag to let you know when you've got a full mag. Overall worth the buy.
