Solid enough for fun purposes. It requires a bit of persuasion with a mallet to fit into the frame, but this is a good thing. Just put the muzzle of the gun on a block of wood, and strike the butt of the stock firmly a few times with a heavy rubber mallet to seat it into the frame. Requires the drilling of a couple of holes in the stock to locate it correctly in the mounting holes; but they include the screws and drill bit you'll need. Simple to install as long as you're careful with the drill.The stock adjusts quickly and easily; and while there is some play between the inner and outer pieces, that is to be expected. The sling slot under the body tube makes a good place to put a sling for carry in the 'assault' style. You may have to open the slot up a bit in order to get the clip end of the sling through tho.All in all, a good product and fair buy for the money.

It fit my WASR 10 great, ...

It fit my WASR 10 great, but a tactical device shouldn't rattle. Grabbing the gun by the grip and giving it a shake really makes the sliding part of the stock rattle.

If you need a new stock ...

If you need a new stock bad enough, I suggest spending the extra cash and and purchasing one from Mako or another company. This product lost my faith in Tapco. It might be okay for making your rifle lighter but definitely not the heavy duty choice. Besides, the sling swivel snapped on me before it was even completely screwed in.

I was very unimpressed by ...

I was very unimpressed by this stock. The product feels cheap overall. There are no holes for screws, It comes with a drill bit, and you drill the holes yourself. This is a poor way to do it I believe. If you drill improperly, then the stock will fit wrong. This is something Tapco should have done themselves. The screws it ships with are also very short and look weak. The stock itself feels weak and thin. Overall I feel like this product would be better suited as something to look at, rather than anything you should expect to properly function in the field or on the range. It has totally turned me off to any future Tapco purchases.

Added to an Arsenal ...

Added to an Arsenal SGL21. Great if you're taller or just want the collapsability. Removal/Install:1. Take out the two screws in your original stock.2. Tap the stock against the floor if it's stuck & pull off the old stock.3. Slide in the Tapco stock4. Screw in the tapco stock, watch for the sling attachment as it may prevent your optic mount.Enjoy, it's a great product. You may need the CAA cheek riser (i did).

Have been very impressed ...

Have been very impressed with this stock. At first had some doubts about durability but it is rock solid at any one of the six positions. Installation took 15 minutes from start to finish. Love the extra pull. Shipping was awsome, love Midway.

Put this on a WASR 10 so ...

Put this on a WASR 10 so a little wobble was to be expected. I mounted good and snug but the telescope itself was wobble city its worth less than $40 and I'm talking about putting this on a WASR-10. Looks good though.
