I think the tolerances ...

I think the tolerances for Yugo SKS are so wide it is hard to use other than original parts. The fit was not even close for my rifle. More material than allowed by Installation Instructions would have had to have been filed off for a fit.

Found out after ...

Found out after installing the Intrafuse stock that I would also need to replace the Gas Tube since the intrafuse tube cover wouldn't fit right. After being upset awhile and eventually buying this, I can now say it was a good purchase that added value to my rifle. Cycling seems quite a bit more predictable than before and the gas tube sits firmly in place whereas before my locking arm would come up after a few rounds. Beware, you must be patient while filing this down, use minimal force and keep trying to seat until you get it right.

I rate this product as fair. It's fair because I found out AFTER opening that a gunsmith is recommended so that the gas tube fits in the weapon. I've taken my SKS once since attaching the new gas tube. The gas tube release lever keeps moving to the up position after firing a round. I will try to fix the problem and write an update.

Well, so far I've found ...

Well, so far I've found no problems with the Tapco stock or the gas tube with the handguard. Just a little bit of filing to put on the handguard, but only for the Yugo 59/66. The only real problem so far has been using Fiocchi ammunition. Out of only Wolf, Winchester, and Fiocchi, Fiocchi performed horribly. Tons of jamming. Not sure if the Tapco gastube/handguard had anything to do with it, so I have to give it a four star rating. Otherwise, it is flawless.

This product works good. ...

This product works good. I have completely Tapco'd my Yugo SKS. The only thing I do not like is that the magazines are hard to get out of the weapon once you have locked and loaded. The mags come out easy once the gun is empty. The 5-round mag fouls last round.
