Can't Beat it for the ...

Can't Beat it for the money! I own Nighforce and Leupold scopes as well, and when money is tight, I can't justify the difference for the others. This scope is tougher than I'll ever need it to be, I'm not jumping out of airplanes with it. Also, the clicks are spot on and precise feeling. The reticle is great for holdover. My only complaint would be that the zoom rotates the whole eyepiece, which makes using flip caps a little difficult, but that's the worst of it. I have also had several experiences with Burris customer service, and they were all excellent! I use this on a competition gun, so the clicks have to be spot on. No problems to report thus far.

Great tactical scope! I like the 1/4 MOA adjustment for windage and elevation. Mil Dot reticle is a second focal plane reticle so is only calibrated at 14x (marked on the ring). The bullet drop part on the bottom is for .22-250 55 gr in yds or .300 win mag 190 gr in meters at 14x. Also for .308 175 gr at 11.5x and others on request (I shoot .308 175s so it works for me). I like mil dot holds so I have the top dot zeroed at 200 yds in a 20 MOA base. That puts the x-hair on at 600 yds. Had it been an option, I'd opt for a pure Mil dot versus the BDC bottom. Turret markings to return to zero are outstanding. Optics are best I've seen for under $1000. Overall excellent and versatile scope.
