Product Information

This Noveske Light Recce Basic AR-15 Upper Assembly is chambered in 300 AAC Blackout and comes fully assembled and ready to drop onto any standard lower receiver. It comes equipped with a double chrome lined, 16" cold hammer forged barrel featuring 1 in 7" twist rifling, M4 feed ramps, 5/8"-24 muzzle threads, and a matte black parkerized finish. Additional features include a Noveske-marked BCM Gunfighter charging handle, an F-marked fixed front sight base/gas block, M4-style polymer handguard and a shot-peened, MP-tested bolt housed within a Mil-Spec bolt carrier. The AAC 51-T Blackout flash hider threaded to the barrel's muzzle virtually eliminates the bright flash signature upon firing, and also serves as a quick attach/detach mount for an AAC SDN or SDN6 sound suppressor.

This 16" 300 Blackout upper utilizes the versatile carbine length gas system, a good choice for this cartridge if various weights and types of ammunition are to be used. Most subsonic and supersonic loads, fired from either a suppressed or unsuppressed gun, are compatible with this configuration. However, some subsonic ammunition may not always cycle reliably under adverse conditions or in a severely fouled firearm without a sound suppressor attached to provide extra backpressure.
