Let me start by saying that I am a Nosler fan. That being said, the lease I hunt on just mandated lead free bullets only. The logical choice for me was Nosler. I shoot both a 7mm Mag and a 7mm-08. Both of these rifles like other Nosler bullets from the A-Bond to the Partition. As per Nosler's instructions, I cut the loads in both back 4 grains and changed my seating depth to fifth thousandths off. They shot very poorly, so I played with the charge and powder used, as well as seating depth. The results were very poor. 125 combos tried between the 2 guns, and the best groups I got at a hundred were 1.95 in my 7mm Mag and 2.35 in my 7mm-08. Will try another non-lead bullet and see if that helps. I still think Nosler makes the best bullets on the market. If worse case comes true I won't hunt on the lease anymore.

Used this bullet in a 7mm ...

Used this bullet in a 7mm STW with the same load as described below. This is a very hard bullet. Shot 3 white tail deer with is at ranges no more than 75 yards. Made a pencil hole in and a pencil hole out. The bullet did not appear to have expanded. All three shots were broadside hits. Two of the deer ran for about 200 yards with no blood trail and third had a blood trail of only 20 so feet..found her about a 1/4 mile away. Will have to find a different load for deer. Love the accuracy but they do not kill that well. The velocity of the bullet was in the 3000 fps range.

Very impressed with the ...

Very impressed with the accuracy of this bullet. I shot groups well under an inch at 100 yards out of my 7mm Remington magnum. One group had two practically in this same hole with the third touching. Hope to try it out in the field soon for wild hog. If it is as good as the Nosler partition I'm sold.

I used this bullet in my ...

I used this bullet in my 280 Remington on a South Africa plains game hunt this spring. Accuracy is 3/4" at 100 yards. I shot eight animals: Wart hogs, Impala, but also a Blue Wildebeest through the shoulders was a pass through. A Waterbuck through the shoulders and recovered the bullet under the hide. It weighed 149grs and expanded to .587" and a Zebra heart shot, could not find the bullet. One bullet from a Warthog lengthwise that, bullet was a match of the other one. Needless to say I was extremely pleased with this Rifle bullet combination as was My PH, who thought it might be too light for the bigger animals. I used a 180gr e-tip from a 30-06 Ackley on my Eland with similar results.Thanks Nosler for a great product.

Finally a bullet that my ...

Finally a bullet that my 7MM STW likes. I load these in front of h1000 with a Remington 9 1/2 magnum primer and col of 3.600 it will now shoot all with in an inch at 100 yards. Liked it so much I ordered a 100 more. As always with Nosler an A+ product. Look forward to using them in the field.
