The Wilson .50 BMG ...

The Wilson .50 BMG chamfer tool has some very hard cutters that are up to the task of heavy duty chamfering of .50 BMG necks and the hardened steel should stay sharp for a long time. It works fairly well when chamfering by hand, but the outside chamfering tool (left side in picture) has only three cutters and it chatters a lot when attempting to use a drill or lathe to speed up the process, resulting in a sharp serrated edge on the case neck. On the plus side, the tool is sharp enough, at least when new, that only a single turn or less is needed, so it's easy enough to do by hand. The diameter of the outside chamfer tool is barely large enough to chamfer .50 BMG brass, making alignment a bit tricky. If it was a little bigger, it'd be easier to align and it'd self center in the tool.
