This product is good one ...

This product is good one except for the quality control. My Bulldog Hard-sided rifle case did arrive earlier than expected, but the zipper was glued together in two places, an easy fix but poor Q.C.

Could be great. ...

Could be great. Unfortunately mine arrived damaged. The foam on the inside was stained and torn. The soft outer cover was falling off where the glue didn't stick. So I sent it back and ordered another one. When I recieved it the foam was not damaged but to my surprise it had a completely different kind of foam on the inside. It was REAL cheap foam, light weight and thinner. I had better foam in the cardboard box my AR came with. What gives?? switcheroo?? The first one had the foam like in the picture on this site. I dont want to keep sending them back to try to get the good foam like on the original one because there is probably no way to tell without opening first. Beware these are made in China and I think they are cutting some corners with the newer ones. Also the soft outer cover was completely separated from the hard inner shell where it was "glued on". At least I can re-glue it but I would rather have the damaged first one back.What a waste of money and energy on what should be a perfect case for an AR.

This case is great, ...

This case is great, perfect for AR and accessories. Mine however arrived with tears in the foam on the inside and a chunk about the size of a quarter completely torn off. Also real sloppy glue job between vinyl and plastic around the edges ( something I can fix) They are made in China ( not much quality control there).I am sending this one back for exchange and hope someone checks the next one before shipping. My fingers are crossed. It is a great case though, and I would recommend it for AR owners.

I received my Bulldog ...

I received my Bulldog Carbine Case today and was impressed with the quality. It's not a soft case, but then not a hard-shell case. It's a semi-ridget case with nylon covering. The inside is a pre-cut foam that I'll need to cut out a bit to fit my AR15's forward grip and Magpul ACS stock but I new I would have to do this before I purchased it. The top inside of the case is a nice soft synthetic fur. Very nice case for protecting your AR.

I am very impressed with this product. It is a major improvement from a soft case. I dont think you can find a better case in this price range. It offers very sturdy construction and solid protection. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I am absolutely thrilled, ...

I am absolutely thrilled, received today and had cut-outs done within 2 hours! I purchased based on other reviews, had to get away from cheaper 48" case (which didn't close well or accomodate any accessories or fit in my trunk!). This case is perfect, and am absolutely happy I took the chance on this! It was fairly easy to cut out for scope, full cleaning kit, field cleaning kit, small square for ear plug sets, hand grip and bipod on my AR-15 16". Unbelievably, I was also able to fit my .380 in the lower left corner (in small 7x7" case with 2 clips), and still fit 3 Magpul 30rd magazines! Happy ... yes, quality ... yes, would I pay a little more ... yes. Everything I needed in a well protected case! I have everything I need with me for the range, including a pack of targets that fit in the outside pocket, which is approx. 8 3/4" x 9 1/4". Tight fit ... yes, but I will never worry about anything moving, wish I could post pics. Zipper sturdy enough for me. Back pack straps or sling would be a 7-star rating! Yes, the case is heavy now, but the carry handles feel like they'll last many years!

I was a little confused ...

I was a little confused at first having never dealt with a case like this that stated it was hard sided and then had "Nylon" in the description but it's exactly that. Cushioned Nylon over a hard siding that makes it like both a hard and soft case. It fits the AR perfect and I don't think there's a better case for the money. Nice fur lined top and plenty of extra cutouts. Bulldog hit a homerun with this one!

Good case. Precut for certain version of the AR-15. I had to do minor additional cutting to fit mine. No problem doing so.

It's not a bad case for ...

It's not a bad case for the money. It holds three thirty round magazines with ranger loops and a 100 round plastic ammo box (4 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 2 1/2") snugly. There was plenty of room to cut out a spot for a cleaning kit and and still enough room for a one piece cleaning rod and a scope. Trimming maybe required if you have a bayonet lug and make sure the sling swivel is folded up otherwise the foam may get tore. I use it a couple of times a month and have been fairly pleased with it.
