Well built product as are all YHM products that I own, however I couldn't use this particular mount for my Burris Fastfire, on my DPMS Sweet Sixteen. I am using a 50mm Nikon scope and the position I had originally wanted to use between the front scope ring and Objective lens area on my quad rail, it wouldn't clear. I sat and pondered for an hour trying various positions and couldn't get a functional place to mount it. Ended up going with a piggy back scope mount which worked for me. Only thing I didn't like about the mount was the distance away from the gun the mount protrudes out. It makes a snag point and also makes the weapon not fit in a hard case because of the increased width added to the weapon. Don't get me wrong this mount is great, and would be for many other lights and lasers, or on the muzzle end of a quad rail, just didn't work for my application, but not the rails fault.

Nice offset rail. Has 2 single screw clamps, so you can use one or two depending on your application. I only needed one on the gas block on my AR. Works great for my auxiliary light.
