The Nikon M223 Scope Mount was designed for Nikon's new M223 series of rifle scopes. This lightweight aluminum mount will fit Picatinny and most Weaver-style bases. There is a 20 MOA incline built-in to the base for long range shooting. The M223 Mount also positions the scope slightly forward for proper eye relief when used on an AR-style rifle. All Nikon products include Nikon USA's full or limited warranty.

I just do not understand the bad reviews on the product, no it is not a tactical mount and it is not a quick release but none of that is stated in the product description which is very clear as to how this is used. I have had this mount now for a year and it works without question, mounting it is not that difficult and if you think about what you have in front of you windage can even be adjusted when you mount it on the AR, follow the torque recommendations and you will not have a problem. This product works very well for me with the Nikon M223 that it was made for a very good combo and well worth the money. I guess reading about and researching a product before you buy is a very good idea for all of us to do.

It is well made out of quality materials. The finish is even and good and does not look painted on. And in theory I can see how this is supposed to work. But in reality it does not do as it's supposed to. Due to cost cutting, the clamp system is separate from the ring mounts. The screws for the clamp system, that screw into the nuts of the left side clamp, appear to be part of the clamp rail. They are not, they are a press fit, so if you need to readjust and center the ring mounts, they can spin in the clamp rail, not letting you loosen it for adjustment. This is fine for the money conscious shooter, but not for someone looking for a rugged use base.

I put this on my LR-308 and have had no issues with site-in or retention of zero. I also don't find it difficult to remove if I want to use my MBUS sites, but I keep an Allan Wrench set in my range bag. There aren't many choices when you need to add MOA for 600m+... Semper Fi.

I ordered this mount with my m223 12x and love it, It seemed to mount on the gun easy maybe some of the other reviewers need better tools, I torqued to spec, lazier bore sighted, and had it zeroed within the first 20 rounds. its a very strong mount and I can pop my 400 yard target anytime I want with this set up

For me this is an outstanding mount. It is permanently mounted to my Rock River 20" Coyote AR, I do not swap it around. I found it simple to install, tighten to spec and get zeroed. Thousands of rounds through the weapon and not one issue. Mated with a 4-16 x 42 BDC Nikon Monarch.

Very nice mount that came free with my Nikon 1-4x M-223. Just what you need without all the silly rails on the side and top. Three screws vs. the standard 2 are very nice. Made in the U.S. of A.!

Not good. I give it one star, because I finally did get it to zero. Initially I mounted it (RRA 16" upper and Leupold 3.5-10x50) using a Wheeler Torque wrench and ran out of windage adjustment on my first attempt at zeroing. I took it off at the range, inspected it for machining errors, etc. I could not find anything noticeably wrong with it. I remounted it to "farmer tight" since I did not have my torque wrench, and was able to zero. Also you will need a third or fourth hand to mount it easily (kind of like putting a timing chain on a Toyota 22R. I will be replacing this mount with an American Defense..now there's a good mount.

This is a fairly solid mount that seems to be machined well. Unfortunately the design is just plain stupid in the clamp that attaches it to a rail. It is clumsy to install and very easy to install at an angle. It would also be better if it positioned the scope another 1/4" forward and 1/8" higher. I can't recommend this mount.

This is a great mount. No worries about level-level-level, or lapping. One bit of advice, invest in a F.A.T wrench and a bore sighter. After about a hundred rounds it was still in spec. (25in lbs) on the scope and 30in lbs. on the rail. Excellent grouping down range also, less than 1/2 inch.

Received this scope mount for free as part of promotional deal when I bought a M-223 scope. Quality and finish is very good, but the eye piece height for the scope once mounted is too low and interferes with the operation of the charging handle. I adjusted the scope to move it forward but now have eye relief issues. As a result, I'm going to purchase a 1/2" picatinny riser or a different style charging handle. If I would have had to purchase this mount instead then I would probably have chosen something else.

I mounted this on my ar and ran 200 plus rounds through it with no problems whatsoever. If you torque it on and don't strong arm it on you shouldn't have any problems, it's solid and made to order for an ar format!
