Hornady One-Shot Case Lube is one of the most popular case and tool lubes on the market. One-Shot Case Lube is clean, non-sticky, quick, easy to use and the non-petroleum wax will not contaminate powder or primers. I cannot figure out why or how anyone could possible have less than favorable results with One Shot. I reload a lot for my .308 using RCBS full length dies and the only time I use a pad is when I run out of this stuff. I've never had a stuck case with this, nor my lube pad for that matter. My old Lyman Orange Crusher with my RCBS dies requires very little effort with either lube method. I was doubtful about Hornady's claims at first and probably over-sprayed, but I still didn't have a single neck dented. It really doesn't take much. I don't see any need to use a shoe box or plastic bag, as some suggested, to work the lube around the cases either. The lube works its way around the brass on its own. Just spray the cases from two opposing directions, at an angle to treat the inner-necks, while they sit right in your case block (necks up); wait a minute or two and start resizing. Then when you're done, you can reload them right away because it doesn't contaminate the powder. The only downside, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the cost. Normal lube and pad will treat probably 10-20 times the number of cases that one can of One Shot will. I buy and use this stuff because it works, it's simple, it's fast, it doesn't make powder/primer inert, and a few dollars more spent (spread over 300-400 rounds) is worth it. One Shot is on my permanent Midway wish list. I just wish they sold it in a bigger can. Buy it. Read the short instructions. Use it. You'll love its performance. Tell us if something works better, or as well for less money. I'll gladly switch if it's as fast and easy as One Shot.

I've used this stuff since it was introduced years ago and I don't know what Hornady changed but the last stuff I bought was really bad. I used it just as I have for years, but this time I had stuck cases in the dies ripped the rims off etc. I was using it on .223 cases. The dies and press are in perfect condidtion. I will be looking for another brand of spray on case lube. I don't recomend buying this product.

Haven't used anything but this. I use short bursts of spray at a 45° angle to get case and inside the neck. I then rotate the loading block 180° and spray again. Finally I dump the cases into a tray and roll them until the lube is dry. Hasn't failed me yet, and works like a charm. Less is more with this stuff!

I Have reloaded for over 40 years and hornady one shot is a little thin as far as lubrication to me I have used several other lubes and with some of them I exert less force with that lubricant than this one I still like it but it would not be my first choice still a very good lubricate in my personal opinion

This spray lube is much easier to deal with while reloading. Gone are the days of rolling cartridges on the oil pad. Now I simply spray the cartridges while they are in a holder. Since I started using the spray, I have yet to dent the cases due to too much oil.

Works very well. This is the only lube I use now.

I tried the pump spray, and I did not like it nearly as well as the aerosol.

The spray pump it comes in lasts one time. Then you come to use it again and start shaking it as the bottle tells you to ( imperative) and the stuff leaks all over the place. I bought the 16 Oz. and got one batch of a hundred cases with it until it was useless. Went an bought a new spritzer and that one doesnt atomize it the same. AVOID the hassle.
The aerosol can stuff works GREAT. Dont buy the liquid.

I have been using this lube for years and recently got a pile of 357 Sig brass from a police range. Most all were Speer branded. I probably had over 2,000 pieces and used this lube on them with just a few sprays in a cardboard box, sloshed them around until the organics evaporated and sized them in my Rockchucker. Not one stuck. That and I didn't have to re-tumble them to load. Couldn't be happier.

Use this product as the directions say and you will not have trouble. CLEAN YOUR DIES. This is improtant, to rid them of your old lube, or clean new sets. Also, as other reviews have mentioned, use enough material. A little extra is cheap compared to stuck cases. Even if you get them removed without damage, the loss of time alone is a drag. Of course, this is not as easy as Imperial dry neck lube for neck sizing, but cleaner. Follow the instructions and you will be home free.

I have found that if I clean my sizing die and give them a good spray of One Shot, then spray the cases well and you are in business. I'm throwing out my lube pads and tubes of messy lube gel.
