Works splendidly in my ...

Works splendidly in my two M-1s. Shoots to same regulation/point of aim at 100 yards as Lake City 150 gr. ball, a BIG plus. Tight groups, a la National Match ammo. Also shoots very close to point of aim in a bolt action Browning A-bolt sighted in with factory Federal/165 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip Just wish it could be had in volume at some sort of discount!

This is truly MATCH ...

This is truly MATCH grade, unlike other brands that just print it on the box. This delivers performance, from shot to shot, that is so consistent it is almost eerie. This consistent performance is not only present in an M1 Garand (which this was really designed for), but also in an '03 Springfield, Rem.700 and Ruger 77RSI. Will give consistent string to string groups, BUT...performs equally well in the field also. Fights wind drift better than most also, only use about 2/3 of windage I would need with LC match at 300yd. Very reloadable, but cannot comment on case life yet.

Shot it as the match ammo ...

Shot it as the match ammo issued at CMP Creedmoor East Games versus the usual Greek HXP issued. It shot about 2 clicks high on 200 yd targets in a Winchester M1 Garand & in my Springfield O3-A3 but no windage changes needed despite this years' wind and rain. Expect a lot of high scores at Perry this year with this ammo. Suggest getting a box or 2 if you're headed to the National Matches to zero ahead of time.I am, I liked the way it shot as did most competitors.

Printed well with an old ...

Printed well with an old USGI Garand and ran without flaw on a tanker. No function problems and performed as advertised all around. I haven't tested it in a vise or with any scoped rifles, but it grouped very well with iron sites out of guns made with 70+ year old parts. Didn't leave much carbon in the gas system components or barrel.

This ammunition ran well ...

This ammunition ran well in a Springfield Armory M1. It grouped well, with 20 rounds fired all falling within the 9 ring of a standard SR-1 target, at 100 yards, and 75% of those were in the 10 ring. I would expect that better shooters would print better results with these cartridges. These cartridges do not use the CCI 'military grade' primers. If they did, I would say that this would be a perfect cartridge for the Garand, whether or not the common questions about primers for use in this rifle are justified. The other characteristics of these cartridges cause me to want to use them exclusively, despite their cost.
