Product Information

The Super Fly holster is constructed of a very tacky material, often compared to fly paper, meaning that the holster will absolutely not budge in your pocket. Additional features include a removable outer flap to further break up your pistol's outline, slick pack cloth interior for a friction-free draw and polymer reinforcements in critical areas.

After comparing dimensions of my LC9 with my Glock 26; I ordered this same holster but for the G26. It fit my LC9 perfectly!! Just had to pass this on.

Too big really for normal pocket

Finding a holster is worse than shoes that fit right. There are a lot to choose from. This one is ok, but was just bigger than what I wanted it to be. It doesn't make you print but then again what's that in your pocket or are you just happy to see me doesn't work either. Religated to coat duty, then it's ok, but then you still have the problem of fit and making sure when you pull the gun that the holster stays and the gun comes out. Just ok.

I have an LC9 and purchased the Superfly in the size to fit a Glock 26 as per Ed R.'s suggestion. The fit is perfect. I can carry in my right front jeans pocket without the flap and the rig does not print at all, which is good since I did find that the flap is too bulky for jeans pocket carry. The G26 holster with the LC9 is little too large to fit in my hip pocket, however.

The fit of this holster for an LC9 is very poor. The gun does not go all the way in like it should. There is about 3/4" of the butt that sticks out past the top of the holster. I can't use it. Too bad since I have this holster made for other guns that are fantastic (LCP and Sig P238).

Although DeSantis claims that the new Ruger LC-9 fits this holster, it doesn't fit well. The extended trigger guard on the LC-9 does not allow the gun to go all the way into the holster. The end of the barrel comes no closer than about three-quarters of an inch from the end of the holster, leaving that much wasted space and leaving the other end of the gun sticking three-quarters of an inch further out of the holster than if the gun fit all the way into the holster. The removable, external flap can still cover the grip to prevent printing, if the pocket is big enough. But in small pockets where that three-quarters of an inch makes a difference, a better-fitting holster would be preferable. Other than leaving more room for the LC-9 trigger guard so the gun would fit, the design and material of the holster is good. I wish DeSantis would make a version of the holster to fit the LC-9 specs.

I love this holster! It easily fits in the back pocket of my jeans, even with the removable outter flap attached. It conceals my Kel Tech PF9 very well, even from the top view. It does not feel bulky and offers very easy weapon presentation. I purchased this holster because other pocket holster left the grip exposed which eventually wore a hole in my back pocket. Problem solved thanks to the removable outter flap.

I've used this product ...

I've used this product for 2.5 years and it has held up to all the abuse I could give it. It's been sweat on, dropped in the mud and used in multiple pockets (front and rear pant, breast pocket and coat pocket) both dress and work clothes and it is still tacky enough to stay put when drawing from the pocket. The tackiness is designed to stick to the pcoket though and I've found that some practice is needed to keep from turning the pocket lining inside out when drawing. As to the bulk of the anti-print flap, yes, it does add an extra layer, but it does its' job of removing the tell-tale outline. The benefit of having a removable panel far outweighs the small amount of added bulk. I give the product five stars for reliability and function.

I found that the "super fly" material was not in fact all that sticky. However, the overall design is very good, with thin but quality material. I disagree that the added flap adds too much thickness - it's less than 1/8" thick of fabric. However, unless you want that extra flap, the Nemesis offers comparable function.

I have only had it for several days, and already love the little thing. It does exactly what I had hoped it would. That is to hold my Ruger LCP in place in my pocket, without much bulk or weight I removed the flap. It does just that, and works very well in the rear pocket. Had no trouble sitting in the car while driving either. Very comfortable to wear.

Good Idea, poorly executed. The detachable flap adds way to much bulk. Without the flap, the gun prints. Would be better if the flap were integrated, and didn't double the material on that side.
