I purchased this sight ...

I purchased this sight for a Browning BPS shotgun. The sight itself is a very good open sight for a slug gun for hunting. The fiber optics literally glow out of doors. Indoors they are not as good. For some reason they do not seem to pick up light as well indoors. I would not recommend them for a home defense type of gun.The rear sight was very easy to install. However, the front sight was very difficult. I ruined the first front sight trying to tap, hammer, and C-clamp it into place, and had to purchase a new one. I had a gunsmith install the second one. If you were to install it yourself I would strongly recommend a Williams sight tool.
