This is a great product.....
This MOD like this, is something that the GLOCK Factory should have already taken care of....
I installed the "Lone Wolf Extended Slide Lock" on both my G19 and G26....easy to install, great aid in cleaning the weapons....

Just installed this on my Glock 17 gen3. Wow what a difference. I have small fingers and this really aides in break ease. Took a whole 60 seconds to swap out. Must upgrade for anyone with trouble using the factory one.

This is the second thing I do to every Glock, right behind an extended slide stop release. This makes taking your glock down for cleaning much easier and less awkward without being obtrusive.

This is one of those "I should've done this sooner" items. Works great and it's a breeze to install. As soon as you get home with your new Glock, this should be the first "must have". Ordering another for the wifes model 26.

Works great! Took a minute to install and, though only slightly longer than the stock lock, took all of the frustration out of breaking down a pistol. I put one on my G21 and one on My G19.

This is a drop-in part that, yes, you do need for your Glock. The slide lock is easier to grip and that makes take-down much easier.

A few easy minutes to install! Make certain gun is unloaded!! Remove slide from frame - depress bar spring that crosses through notch on bottom, and slide old lock lever out from either side. Place flat side of replacement to front (towards muzzle end), again depress bar spring and reinsert in frame. Push in until spring captures in the center slot and you're done! As stated, slight extension in no way interferes with holsters or accessories. Fast and easy way to prevent frustration and broken nails. Again, make certain that gun is unloaded with empty chamber seen/felt before any handling. Live ammo should never be present when working on or cleaning a gun. Be safe and have more fun shooting with Midway!

After making my fingers sore, tearing up fingernails, and FINALLY (gently) using pliers to disassemble my 17 for cleaning, I was thinking of welding nubs on the ends of the factory slide lock. BUT... I found this item from Lone Wolf. Installed it two years ago: no more frustation. !WHAT a difference that extra 1/8-inch (3mm) overall length makes! Am buying one for a friend who recently bought a 17.

I purchased this item to enhance my Glock 23. It took only 3 minutes to install. It made field stripping the weapon much easier. With a total of 3mm additional protrusion, it really only equals 1.5mm on both sides. This allowed me to continue to use my Blackhawk Level 3 Duty Holster and off Duty SERPA holster without any issues. Will be buying more for my off duty Glock 27 and friends!!

Great item; only need a pin to hold spring down and slide old lock out and new one in. I will order more for all my Glocks!
