This is a great product. A true "Drop-In" part. The addition of the "Heavy Firing Pin Spring" is a plus. Works perfect in the RIA 1911 I installed it in. Thanks to Midway for providing another great firearm product.

I am very pleased with this product although I have not tested it extensively in my Series 70 Colt Gold Cup. The firing pin indent in the primer is much less pronounced (using an extra power firing pin spring in conjunction with the new FP). Despite the reduced primer indent there have been no misfires.

Firing pin was a drop-in fit. Only fired a few rounds to check primer hit. Looked good and Worked great.

I bought the titanium firing pin for my new Colt "Rail Gun" .45 auto after I removed the firing pin (series 80 type) and returned it to a series 70 operating manner. This lighter firing pin will be affected by inertia less and thereby be less likely to cause an AD (accidental discharge) in the case of the pistol being dropped.The product went in without a hitch with no fitting required. I test fired the pistol and it worked fine. I did detect perhaps a millisecond faster lock time (just kidding!).
