I found the Redfield ...

I found the Redfield rings very easy to install. They are probably the most solid, dependable of about five brands I have used. I will use these same type and brand of rings again.

Installing the front ring ...

Installing the front ring into the base dovetail was very difficult due to being very tight. A little grease and careful coaxing got it in. Then the ring screws would not install as the threaded holes were not tapped out properly. A trip to the local gunsmith fixed that. It used to be that Redfield was top quality. Not today. These rings are made in China. That pretty well says it all.
