I feel this is a great ...

I feel this is a great upgrade to any electronic powder scale. After trickling powder for a maximum load you can put the shell casing mouth inside the side funnel port and pour. You may have to tap on the opposite end to get all the powder to go in the casing like any other pan design. The difference is, it's easier not to miss the shell casing or spill. This design seems to eliminate the need to have a separate funnel in addition to a pan. If powder sticks to it, you may shift it around in gun powder to coat it. This greatly reduces the clinging. All powder handling products regardless of design, material, or manufacturer seems to benefit from this coating to reduce the static or clinging.

Best ever powder funnel! Be sure to tape or glue a quarter to the bottom, to be able to use with electronic scale.

What a time saver! Works ...

What a time saver! Works well with my RCBS Chargemaster, however I had to superglue a large diameter washer to the bottom (and had to rough the surface first to get the glue to stick solid to the plastic) to get the Chargemaster's auto dispense function to work correctly with it. I washed it prior to use then used a laundry static cling sheet to address any static probs too. I found that H380 ball powder bounces out a bit, but only less than 1%.

Best six dollars I ever ...

Best six dollars I ever spent. I thought there may be static electricity issues, since it is made from plastic, but the powder slides right through it. On top of that when pouring powder onto it, it does not bounce off nearly as easy. The less you have to transfer the powder from one location to another, the less powder you're likely to spill.

This funnel works great ...

This funnel works great with my PACT Digital Precision Powder Scale. I did have to wipe it down with a dryer sheet to kill the static electricity that caused powder to stick to the pan.Great idea!

Bought this with the ...

Bought this with the Lyman 1200 DPS 3. In order to get it to work with the auto-dispense function of the Lyman scale I had to tape a quarter to the bottom. Then it worked great. The only downside to this funnel is that it has a tendency to clog since you aren't pouring the powder on the side of the funnel; it all just runs to the hole. You just have to pour slowly.

This little pan is so ...

This little pan is so convenient. I trickle my charge into it on my scale and dump into a case. The tapered neck fits snugly into every cartridge I've used it with and I never spill even one granule of powder using this funnel pan. Like others have said, for the first couple hundred charges a couple of granules of powder may stick to the pan via static electricity, but this will stop soon once the powder coats the pan a little bit. A light tap on the pan caused any stuck powder to free itself.

It's the best funnel for ...

It's the best funnel for PACT scale. I glued a coin at the bottom to make it a little heavier. No need for other funnels.
