Inexpensive trigger upgrade

I put the 19lb. spring in my P220. Not that the factory trigger pull is bad, but after installing the Wolff spring, the trigger pull is nice and smooth. Just make sure you have something that will hold the frame nice and tight for you when you remove the polymer base. Haven't had any issues with light strikes or misfires. It's an inexpensive way to give your Sig a custom trigger without the custom price.

I used the 19 pound hammer spring in a Sig P229. The trigger feel is a little lighter and smoother, but still seems firm enough to safely keep the trigger from firing inadvertently. After a few boxes of S&B 9mm ammo, there have been no light strikes. I like the feel of the gun a little better than with the stock spring. It is an easy part to change, and I recommend it for a quick, cheap upgrade.
