ProMag magazine bodies are constructed of high carbon heat-treated steel and TIG-welded for strength. The springs are precision wound using heat-treated chrome silicon wire. Bases and followers are injection molded from polymers selected for their durability. The result is quality, consistency, durability and reliability.

I bought one of these ProMag 15 round magazines back during the dark days of the Clinton Bayonet & Magazine Ban. Haven't had a single problem with it in either of my P89s. Always locks in, slide open or closed, and always feeds as smoothly as Ruger's factory mags. I'm about to order another one because I don't think you can beat 'em at this price.

I have 6 of these mags and never once have I had any issues with this product!!! I have fired over 1500 rounds and never had a jam or feeding issue with my p-89 Ruger!!!!

I bought this magazine to use with my P95 at the shooting range, but the slide locks open VERY frequently. There is absolutely no problem with the Ruger mags. It's so annoying that I won't use this mag anymore. You get what you pay for, I guess. I'm not wasting my money on ProMag ever again.

I could not make the magazine latch in the pistol with slide closed until I filed the U-shaped notch on upper left side of mag wider. Afterwards, it worked great in my Ruger P-95. Filing should be done with the mag disassembled.

This product is absolute junk. The slide locks back with the last round still in the mag. The mag will not feed the bullet up the ramp. And I have had jams. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Lesson learned, cheaper is not always better. This mag would chamber rounds just fine, except for the last round in the mag. It would lock the slide back and then you have to rack manually.

Fired 1000 rounds with ...

Fired 1000 rounds with this mag. Loaded 15 rounds and let it sit for a month and fired 500 more with only one jam, not too bad. I went back and bought 3 to carry as law enforcement.

Don't waste your money on ...

Don't waste your money on these mags. I bought one and took it back after one trip to the range. If a p95 won't feed, it's the mag. My factory mags have NEVER jammed, not once with any ammo, even CCI shot shells feed flawlessly.

Purchased 2 of these. 1 worked fine; other held only 14 rounds and would not feed properly. Returned to Midway and received replacement. Replacement was also defective, same as the 1 returned to Midway. Too much hassle to return and wait for another replacement. Lesson learned. 1 rating is because Midway did attempt to make good.
