This sight was easy to mount on my AR-15, and easy to sight in. The adjustment dials are very small, but could be adjusted with a .223 cartridge base. The optics were clear and the dot was clear and crisp, and easy to see in the daylight when set on power # 10 or 12. It came with an extra battery, lens cleaning cloth, and lens caps. I am very satisfied, and would highly recommend this Sight.

I rated this before and gave it a poor rating. Recently I found it again and decided to see if I could make it work. I blame my previous problems on poor documentation and not enough time on my part. After I figured out only the front mounting bolt is used as a recoil lug and fits down into the weaver cross slot things were better. The back bolt just clamps the mount tight and actually is above the rail. The recoil from my first few shots loosened the sight. After shooting and tightening the bolts several times it seemed to settle in and is actually pretty functional. It is not perfect but better than my first attempt would indicate. Not bad for the money.

Having found that my eyesight is now troublesome when using open iron sights, I realized I needed help. I have scopes on a couple of other guns which work well, but when I bought a new 357 Handi Rifle recently, I decided to try a red dot for it. I picked this one from Midway based on price (lowest) and some good informative reviews. Anyway, it fit and adjusted easily and works quite well. Only trouble is the dot being more of a squiggle than an actual dot. Have only used it once so far I will work with it some more and see if I can get comfortable with it. Bottom line, it's good value for the money and better than trusting my eysight with the iron sights. Works for me!

You can't see the red dot in average daylight. Never could check how accurate the scope is. Couldn't see the dot. I mounted it so no return on a poor-poor product. Don't buy it.

It's cheap, it's fun to play with. I have no concept of what is normal but I was surprised at how extreme the parallax is. It works great for closer faster shooting. The build quality is quite good for the price. I don't know if spending more would bring less parallax (or how much less) but would it be worth it? It's fine like it is for a pinker if you're lined up good it works just fine. It fits well on my Beretta U22. Any lighter of a pistol might be way to top heavy. It's right on the verge on the u22. If I bought another red dot I would look for less parallax and a little less weight. I rated it good because to me its usefulness is rather limited. It is not junk nor was it a waste of money.

This sight is a great buy for what it cost. It's definitely not the highest of quality but it's worth every penny it cost. The integral mount fits perfect on my 10/22 Charger and sighted in easily at 50 yards allowing tight groups. The only down side I have found is the size of the dot at 50+ yards, but the 5moa is pretty much the standard for these types of sights. I dont know how well it would take the recoil of a larger gun but I would certainly recommend this for plinking.

I opened the package to find the mounting system defective. The two cross rods were not the same(one round one square) One of the cross rods was not installed correctly. A poor buy. Will return to Midway for store credit.

I ordered this dot to play with since I have never used one before. The first one arrived and I installed the battery and it didn't work. I sent it back and they sent me another one. This one was so hard to turn on that it took a pair of pliers. I thought that it may work out but 3 months later it is on my table. If I sent this one back I would have more in postage than in the scope.

For the money it is a good sight. Like all red dots, the main drawback is that the dot does cover/obscure the bullseye at longer distances (beyond 50 yards). Having said that though, it still is quite useful for close-in plinking. I put one on my M-4 carbine and co-witnessed it with my iron sights. So far it has held up well. It obviously won't hold up as well as an Eotech in the long run, but then again it didn't cost me $400+ dollars either! I wouldn't take this particular red dot into combat, but for plinking and general target/range use it is fine. For the price, value, and decent quality I give it 5 stars. For around $25 you really don't have anything to lose.

I had 2 issues with this sight:1) The dot is not a dot; it's a weird comma shape. I have found that this is normal - apparently if your eyes are not perfect, there can be distortion, even with corrective glasses. So, not Barska's fault.2) Horiible parallax, which I did not discover until the return period was past. At 50 feet, with the rifle on bags, moving my eye slightly causes 3-4 inches of apparent dot movement! I had the impression that unit magnification red dots did not have parallax problems, but this apparently is not true. This might be ok on a shotgun, with shot, but it makes any kind of precision impossible with bullets.
