Kano AeroKroil Penetrating Oil and Bore Cleaning Solvent is Kroil under pressure. This is the handiest way to use this amazing chemical loosener. Squirts a thin stream of Kroil Penetrating Oil and Bore Cleaning Solvent up to three feet. Ideal for loosening frozen parts and threads. Kroil creeps below the fouling in your barrel, allowing you to knock it out easily with a patch or brush. For best results working with rusted or frozen gun parts, allow 24 hours for Kroil to penetrate.

This is great stuff use ...

This is great stuff use it for almost everything. I have used to get exhaust bolts lose on twelve year old truck; spray, tap with hammer, wait a minute surprise they came free. I use this on all my firearms. Its not worth a darn for copper but it cleans the heck out everything else. I mix it with hoppes no9 and soak my pistol barrel and gas ring piston from shotgun, makes short work of the chore. Good stuff you will not be displeased, you will stop using all others. Just cant say enough good about this product.

Great oil for firearms; have been using Kroil for some time now. Used it on my Mossburg 835; have not had a problem with either. As with all oils I do not recommend storing it near any ammo or reloading components.

What a wonderful ...

What a wonderful product!! I learned about it years ago from an older navy mechanic while we were working on a car together. The stuff is better at breaking loose rusted nuts than anything I have found for that purpose at automotive stores. The aerosol version has the added effect of bubbling action - like when you pour coke on something to clean it. The bubbles really help it work its way down into cracks and you dont have to pre-soak nearly as long. Frankly, none of my guns are rusted enough to need this - the only time I used it on a gun was to help getting out a stuck choke tube on my shotgun and it worked like a miracle. I tried lubing guns with it, but it's actually not that great for the purpose - the oil is so thin, light and creepy, that over a short time it just crawls off of the parts you sprayed it on. It also does not have a great heat tolorance. But for breakin lose something that's stuck, I have not found ANYTHING that does a better job!

I have heard that benchrest shooters are using this in combination with bore paste to clean their barrels. This stuff works well. I was a little surprised by the pink color. I was using a teflon spray, which was extremely dry and slick to the touch and didn't gum at all and didn't attract dirt, but I am afraid the teflon (microscopic plastic beads) might have been imbedding itself in my barrel over time with the heat and pressure of firing. Kano seems to not only oil and protect the gun with little or no gumming, but it can also clean the chamber to some extent. I think the benchrest crowd is onto something - scrub the heavy stuff with a paste, 3-4 dry patches, and finish with a light cleaning and oiling with Kano, followed by a few dry patches - simple and works well. First shot accuracy is good if you push a few dry patches through the barrel after using Kano when you clean at home - there will be enough oil left to protect the barrel.

I used this stuff to clean up all the gunk, grease,surface rust of an ak kit with amazing ease. I also have used it to clean out the gas tubes and valves. Plus it works as a bore cleaner as well. If the world went to hell I'll make sure I stock up on this stuff because it does it all. Lubes, cleans, protects.

* NOTE: This is a PENETRATING lubricant, it's not designed nor intended for use as a firearm cleaning product.That being said, Kroil is the most effective penetrating oil I've ever used, blowing WD-40, Gibbs, Free All, Liquid Wrench, and others completely out of the shop. And that's from over 15 years of personal experience, having tried them head-to-head versus Kroil and other Kano Labs products.Since Kroil works so well as a penetrant, it does a fantastic job of getting between the metal of your bore and any fouling regardless of whether it's powder residue, corrosion, or metallic deposits.I use a wide range of Kano Labs products for various purposes and recommend them all as often and fervently as I can. A week doesn't often go by when I don't have the occasion to recommend someone pitch their cans of WD-40 for Kroil.

We have a nick name for this stuff "Man in a Can". This is by a long shot the best penetrating oil on the market. Nothing cleans your bore better. Lead is no match. As a mechanic I use this stuff quite often and I have yet to be disappointed. It is amazing.

The previous users claim that Kano Kroil is not intended for use as a firearm cleaner is not totally true. It may NOT be intended for use as a cleaner but is the ONLY cleaner/penetrating oil I use in both my gunsmith business and for my personal firearms. I've found that if using Kroil consistently the amount of time spent brushing and swabbing barrel and bores will be cut in half. It is suitable for ALL firearms, as I use it on my trap gun, a Parker built in 1882 and newer like my Barrett 82A1 which has never seen anything but Kroil.

The penetrating ...

The penetrating properties of this product are truly astounding. The real test came when I used it to free up a frame/axle bolt to remove a broken radius arm from a 14 year old Ford van. I had basically given up but then decided to try the AeroKroil spray. After application and repeated tapping for about a 1/2 hours time, the bolt broke free and I was on my way to completing the repair. You could actually see where this product penetrated into the rusted, close tapered hole the bolt was in.I can say unequivocally, this is the finest penetrating oil on the market bar none.
