Product Information

Since 1928, Prvi Partizan has been producing custom ammunition in Serbia for competition, indoor ranges and big game hunting. Soft point bullets feature a soft lead exposed nose that create controlled expansion and a uniform mushroom. This ammunition is new product, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Using a 1913 Gustaf Swedish Mauser with a Leopold Scout Scope, I was extremely impressed with the precision of the ammo shots and how clean the powder burn. At 25 yards, I had six shots, all within 1/4 inch group. At 50 yards, six shots at 0.7 inch group. At 100 yards, 1.2 inch group, and at 200 yards, 1.9 inch group. At 300 yards, six shots within 3.4 inch group. This was on-par with Hornady and Winchester. Residue in the barrel was equal to that of Hornady and Winchester, but the barrel seemed to heat up more with this ammo than the other two brands. 30 rounds for each brand were all fired between 23 and 26 minutes. Saw no difference in felt recoil between the 3 brands of ammo. Will order more.

I wasn't impressed. In an 8" twist barrel this ammo couldn't do better than 3.5" at 100 yards. All rounds fed and fired perfectly. Measuring at the ogive this ammo's seating depth varied by 0.015" in one box. As others have noted also the powder fouling was what I would classify as extreme. Super dirty.

On the bright side, this ammo is cheap and the brass is on it's 3rd loading, it appears to be useful for something. Handloads in this brass with Hornady 140 grain SST's are averaging 1" at 100 yards and all the fired cases weigh within 1 grain of each other.

Quite consistent and accurate but unusually dirty. It was very difficult to clean bore after firing. Won't be using again (love my rifle too much).

Good, accurate performance but leaves a dirty barrel. After firing, each cartridge case is sooty, but it doesn't seem to affect accuracy much.

This shot well in my 1917 Gustaf, three shot groups cloverleafed at 75 yd. Would rate higher but the fowling is horrible. Most cases came out black streaked.

This ammunition is acceptable in the accuracy department, but the powder used is extremely fouling. I had just detailed the rifle one week earlier and had to soak the barrel for two evenings with Montana Extreme bore solvent to remove excessive fouling. My Son and I only shot 6 rounds! Be prepared to spend additional time cleaning after each use.

Tested a box of 20 in two different Tikka T3 Lite Stainless. AVG in #1 = 2378 fps, ES 29, SD 10, 2+ group for 10 shots. AVG in #2 = 2384 fps, ES 43, SD 13, 1 1/2" group for 10 shots. Both rifles had Weaver 4X Classic scopes, temp 90+, RH about the same. Chronograph at 10' from muzzle.

Outstanding ammo! I shot it out of my 1916 Carl Gustav M96 and a custom rifle built on a Gewr 98 receiver. Tight groups. I would definitely buy this ammo again.

Shoots 2 MOA out of my feather weight barrel which, is great for that rifle. I also bought this ammo to fire form brass for a 6.5x55 Ackley Improved chamber in another rifle. It shoots a 2 MOA 10 shot group, which is also pretty good, since I don't expect much accuracy from an AI chamber when fire forming brass.

This ammunition shoots very well in my 1921 Carl Gustaf Swedish Mauser. Three shot groups from this old warhorse average under 1 1/4" at 100 yards with PRVI ammo. Economical and accurate to boot. I plan on stocking up after Christmas!

Not bad, consistent results, clean burning. Nice brass, too. Shot a few 1/2" groups at 50m. Great bang for the buck.
